I have my cranberries, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes done. I’m going to start on the rolls. Tomorrow I’ll have to make the broccoli salad and prime rib. Everything else will be finished or someone else is bringing it.

I’ll make my cranberry sauce tonight and put the ingredients together for my artichoke dip. Then I’ll just have to cook the dip and corn before I leave in the morning.

What are everyone’s thoughts on cooking pumpkin pies ahead of time? My mom always made hers the day/night before. After they cooked, they sat on the countertop (covered with foil). After Thanksgiving dinner, they’d go in the fridge. I’ve been reading that pumpkin pie should be refrigerated about two hours after baking. I want to make mine this afternoon, but I don’t have the space in the fridge for two pies. Thoughts? I can put the baked pies in the garage as a compromise. It’s 39 degrees here today with a feel-like temperature of 28. Tomorrow’s temperatures will be similar. Or would you live dangerously and keep them on the counter? The refrigerator 2 hour after baking people are probably the same people who won’t eat cookie dough. I don’t eat pumpkin pie, but my brother loves it and he has over 40 years of eating unrefrigerated pumpkin pie with no ill effects.

Got all my stuff done. Just rolled out my rosemary rolls, my husband had not put the dough hook away where it lives so I had to wait for him to unhide it. I made a chocolate bundt cake and a salted caramel sauce for it, cranberry bliss bars, overnight salad, green bean casserole sauce, cranberry nut bread, and my rosemary rolls. Oh, I also made one of the jello salads from the horrifying recipe thread! Had to run to the store and I am not sure how it will turn out, but I just had to try. I love baking day!

The workmen left at 2:30 today replacing our pipes and I started meal prep at 3:30 with my son's fiancée. This is the first time in over 30 years I have had anyone help me cook. We got everything but the turkey, potatoes, and gravy finished.

I baked my pies this evening and this afternoon I prepped all my veggies for the stuffing, I assembled it and will bake it off tomorrow.
And I’m done!

Well we got home late last night and I forgot to put the rolls out to thaw/rise and didn’t make the cranberries. Cranberries now made (hefty glug of Grand Mariner in there, and another in my coffee) and rolls doing the rapid rise.
DH put the brisket on to smoke early this morning.
