Putting it here in writing for when I come to check this thread-my goal is to stay out of TM for the month of December at least. May your deals be good!

I was at TM this weekend and found some Doodlebug on clearance, At the register, there was an extra discount off of clearance. I didn't see too much new stuff coming in: our local store seems to be moving more towards cookware and dec and away from crafting.

Looks like there’s going to be a Tim Holtz and Sizzix special sale/release this month. Anyone else hear that?

November did seem to slow down. Probably a good thing.

I have stayed out of TM’s craft section almost 2 months so far. I think I will try to stay out of TM for at least another month. I really have no business adding to my stash till I do some serious scrapbooking.
Happy hunting to the rest of you who hope to find treasures!

I don't know why I"m even looking at this. We don't have a Tuesday Morning anywhere near us since we moved.

They had some Graphic 45 Christmas paper in 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 today. The only thing I got was a large (maybe five inch) snowflake die. Just a single from Crafter's Companion. They had some Christmas dies and stamps and adorable house mouse stamps, but not a lot of anything I wanted today. I was still looking for the Hero Arts Santa die.

Sadly the TM near me is closing next month. It had a good sized craft aisle as well as home/ kitchen items. The location is a little odd—it’s in one of those office strip malls and not on a major street. But what’s sad is it’s close to a retirement community so a lot of the residents would shop there.
The next closest one will probably go next. It’s in a busy outdoor shopping center but you can’t see it from the front of the mall. It’s actually behind one of the stores and you have to go back where the trucks deliver to even find it. Not much in the way of crafts there. Oh well. At least my wallet is happy.

Does anyone know just how many TM stores are being closed? The manager of the next closest TM told me she would be getting all the stock meant for my store that’s closing.

They had some Graphic 45 Christmas paper in 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 today. I was near 3 different TM stores in the last couple of days, so I stopped by. No Christmas G45 at mine. There was a 12x12 generic G45 pad in 12x12, but not one I wanted, and definitely not Christmas. I saw other Christmas themed papers and embellishments at the one I visited today, including some really cute Echo Park chipboard, but I didn’t see any scrappy stuff that I had to have. My stash is too big as it is, and Tuesday Morning purchases are a big part of the reason. I didn’t realize that they are closing some stores. That explains their recent increase in prices, though, if they are struggling financially. I hope they survive.

This is my store too. So sad that it is closing. One employee suggested emailing corporate to ask them to find a new location. I also said that I wouldn't be visiting the other "close" location more than a few times a year as it isn't near anywhere I visit frequently. So sad!

We've had an extra one open two years ago. Mine always seem to have people in them. Hope they do survive.

I just found out about the TM OUTLET near Dallas, TX...Maybe I’ll resist going for a month or so and then make a February trip.

I just found out about the TM OUTLET near Dallas, TX...Maybe I’ll resist going for a month or so and then make a February trip. I went once. They had more as far as quantity, and possibly more selection of products in household goods, but the craft section was disappointing on all counts. I bought one or two items, neither of which were craft related. I’ve never bothered to go back. I found more and better at the local TM’s as far as crafts. It’s fine if you are planning to come to Dallas, particularly a visit to that general area for other reasons, but I wouldn’t make a special trip just for that.

I had to do an errand right near by my TM. I returned something and didn’t buy anything! 👍🏻

Stopped in my TM a couple days ago and for the first time in forever I didn't find a thing. Everyone in the craft section was mentioning they weren't buying anything either which was strange because the manager says she has the second largest craft inventory in the company. Guess it was just an off week.

I decided to travel to the only TM still open near me and they had nothing new. No dies, no stamps, no G45... zilch. I inquired and was told everything was out. This store was suppose to start getting the shipments meant for my TM that is closing in addition to their regular orders. So was this one of the bi-annual weeks TM doesn’t get shipments?
On the up side I met a very nice card maker who creates and sells cards for charity. She and her friends donate supplies, time and earnings. I took her info so I could notify her of anyone destashing. Maybe she can pick up more discounted supplies to help their cause.

I had to run an errand yesterday and wanted to stop by TM. But I had worked cleaning my scrap room earlier so I didn’t want to bring more stuff in <sigh>

Headed to Tuesday Morning today, I can’t wait! It’s been a while since I’ve gone, so I’m sure I’ll find something.
