Great sketch, ComplicatedLady! Thanks for posting it. I really want to get some pages done this month, and will definitely need sketches to get me going. And how cool was that to be able to have the perfect papers for that photo! And the teal/white looks very good on the black background. |

Thanks for the great sketch! I love your example, that car paper is the cutest! I love the colours too. This is my take on it. I love the look of the background mats on an angle, but I decided to straighten them up for this layout.  |

I love this sketch @complicated lady and was determined to try it. I know I have a hard time tilting ANY elements, but thought I could do it. After a couple of hours of moving papers around, I gave up and kept them straight. I even pulled some out. When I finished and looked down through what others had done, my layout has bits and pieces of everyone's pages but doesn't look like the original. I did try and I love what everyone did. So..here's mine.  Snuggle Bunny @complicated lady, I love your big pieces of paper and the colors you used. That pickup paper is so cute, as is the die cut at the top. Love the big circle brought to the front. AussieMeg and jeremysgirl, I left love in the gallery earlier. |

jeremysgirl, love the colors and girly feel on this page. Really digging the purpler arrows and the bestie tag. nylene, Awe!! What an adorable baby! Love that hair!! Your page is adorable as well. I love the dual font for the title and the bunny? Is that paper pieced?

Finally getting caught up on the challenges board! AussieMeg as always, I love your bright color choices! Your layouts always look so fresh and vibrant! jeremysgirl I love the purple in your layout! I think I have some of that paper from the ScrapRoom kit! nylene I totally understand needing to keep things non-tilted. I don’t think I’ve ever created a layout from a sketch that follows the sketch exactly. For me, sketches are more for inspiration. Plus, we totally have to give you credit for any layout you post featuring that sweet happy baby!! |
