#7 Wacky Holidays - There are so many weird and wacky holidays celebrated around the world each day. Choose one of the holidays on this calendar and create a card or layout based on the theme. Take 5 points for every card or layout. Bonus 25 points if you do one from each of the 5 weeks. You can think outside the box for this one. For example, if you use your own handwriting on a layout, claim the points for National Handwriting Day. If you use predominantly blue papers / embellishments, claim the points for Blue Monday.

I am going to post some of the same challenges from December, as most of us were too busy to scrap much last month. There were quite a few that I wanted to do but didn't get around to it.
#8 Photo Stretch - Use one big photo stretched across the page, or several smaller photos in a photo block that runs along the page.
#9 Star Power - Use stars on your card or layout. Take one point for each different type of star eg. star shaped photos or background elements, star embellishments, or star patterned paper.
#10 Shaped Journaling - Journal in a shape eg. on a round tag or a star shaped element, or journal around the edge of the page or a photo.
#11 Fonterrific - Take a point for each different font in your title.
#12 Mosh Pit - Scrap photos from a music concert you've attended - this could be anything from an International rock band concert to your child's piano recital.
#13 Food For Thought - Do a food related layout. This could be a favourite recipe, a layout about a night out at your favourite restaurant, or your traditional Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
#14 Timberrrrrr! - Use wood or wood veneer embellishments, or wood patterned paper.
#15 Pick a Pattern - Take a point for each kind of patterned paper from this list: snowflakes, stripes, stars, trees, dots. Bonus 5 points for all 5.
#16 Can You See Me - I want to try to be in more photos this year, rather than behind the camera all the time. Take a point for every photo that you are in on your LO.
#17 Rounded Corners - Use rounded corners on your photos or background elements.
#18 Banners & Flags - Use banners or flags on your project. Bonus point if your banner includes Christmas items eg. ornaments, tinsel garland etc.
#19 Bag It Up - Use a paper bag on your project. It can be the whole bag or cut/torn parts of a paper bag. Or make your own gift bag embellishment.
#20 Pick Pocket - Use some kind of pocket on your project eg. plastic pocket, envelope, Project Life pocket page or digital pocket template.
#21 Tie It Up - Use ribbon, string, yarn, rope, twine etc on your project. Bonus point if you tie a knot or a bow.
#22 Santa Paws - Scrap a Christmas themed photo of your pet. They could be dressed up in a Christmas outfit, or with a Christmas present you bought them, or sitting in front of the tree etc. It's often really hard to get animals to sit still for a photo - if you manage to get two or more animals in the one photo, take a bonus point.
#23 Santa Photos - Scrap photos of you or your loved ones with Santa. Bonus point if the person with Santa is crying! Another bonus point if the photo is more than 10 years old.

#24 - Cardstock Change UP - I have a ton of pretty colored cardstock that I want to try to get used. So change up your background and use some of the colored cardstock you might have hanging around. #25 - PL cards - cut them, punch them, use them as is, one point for each PL card you use on your project. #26 - Kit it up - Use a page kit or any kit you may have that's been neglected and unused. #27 - In Memory of Christmas Past - Scrap any Christmas prior to 2019. Bonus of 5 points if it is from your own childhood. grammadee I believe my 25 is different enough from AussieMeg #20 - if not I'm ok with letting that one go, just let me know!

Hello Everyone! #28 Baby/Child Album Inspired by grammadee 's idea to get a baby book ready for myself let's have a baby/child book challenge. For this challenge you can create a baby/infant/child book for yourself, a friend or relative, or get out those unfinished baby/infant/child scrapbooks from years past and do some work in them. One point for each page you make. Bonus 5 points for completing any book or album. #29 New Year Jump Start Give yourself a point for any layout, project (could be non-scrappy but still crafty), cleaning/organizing endeavor (1 hour), or big photo edit/print that you do between January 1st and January 7th. Start the new year off feeling accomplished.

kitbop, angel97701 and KikiPea, can we work out some edits for challenges 37, 42 and 52? I am thinking #37 works for prepackaged diecuts and #42 for actually cutting your own. KikiPea, can you emphasize the NEW part (maybe received as a gift or purchased no earlier than December 2019? boymom5 can you maybe edit your #45 to make it specific to different colours or patterns to make it distinct from angel97701's #34??

#58 A Few of My Favourite Things - Do a layout showing a list of your current faves. It could be your favourite songs from your Spotify playlist, 5 favourite TV shows that you're currently watching, the 10 best books you read in 2019, your top 10 favourite anything! Take one point for every item on your list. #59 Time Travel - Do a vacation layout. For a fun twist, take one point for every hour of travel it took to get to your destination - 2 points for a 2 hour drive, 8 points for an 8 hour flight etc. Been on a cruise lately? Scrap the photos and take a point for each day you were cruising. #60 Series Link - Do a layout showing a series of photos eg. photos of a baby for each month of their first year, action photos such as someone hitting a home run in baseball, a series of cheerleading shots etc. Take one point for each photo in the series. #61 Scrap the Everyday - We often focus on scrapping big events such as birthdays, Christmas, graduation etc. Do a layout about the little everyday things in your life. It could be the view from your back porch, a gorgeous flower in your garden, relaxing on a Saturday morning, a new recipe that you've tried, your coffee machine or favourite appliance in action, a new outfit you bought yourself. #62 Swirls - Use swirls on your card or layout. They can be doodled swirls, die cut or hand cut swirls, swirly patterned paper, swirls made with Nuvo dots or gems etc. (I'm being a bit self indulgent here - I want to get a lot more of my Vietnam album done this month, hence the travel challenge. Plus I want to see more of Chinagirl828 's fabulous travel pages!) I hope y'all don't think I'm hogging the challenges. I've added more than my fair share this month!

Just the push to get me to work on some pages from my recent celebratory 60th birthday cruise!
