Haven't seen much for the month of December for scrap stuff. One of the managers of a store here said they have been focusing on Christmas items.

December was pretty much a bust. I'm hoping we'll get some new stuff this month.

I think once they start getting in Christmas merch, it's largely a bust for other stuff since the holiday stuff takes up so much space. Now that that is getting cleared out I look forward to some new crafty stuff!

It was very paltry when I went last week. I'm hoping for an increase later this month.

I spent my entire tool budget for January in 1/1 because I stopped at a Tuesday morning on the way to pick DD up and found Hagrid & Ravenclaw emblem to add to my Harry Potter stash
See y’all in February 😁 only adhesive for me the rest of the month

I got two sets of the HP dies (minus the two I had to find else since my TMs never got them). I gave my friend (a HP fanatic) the set of dies for her birthday and she was thrilled.

It’s part of the set of dies that was formerly at TM. I got Harry & Hermoine & Hufflepuff then. Yesterday I saw Hagrid & Ravenclaw & snapped them up. The cashier said he hadn’t seen them for quite some time so I assume it a new wave but I’m not sure of his knowledge of the craft aisle. I’d break my self imposed ‘budget limit’ for the Dobby die lol

I went into one of the nicer TMs on 12/31, and was pleasantly surprised to see that they expanded the SB / crafting aisle in that store to both sides of the aisle. It was much easier to look at things. Even with that, though, I did NOT see one single thing I *had* to buy!! I picked up about $15 worth of stuff that I was contemplating getting, but I ended up putting it all back.

An employee said they are back to regular shipments on Monday.

Went to TM today and they had the prettiest winter paper by Crafter's Companion. It was in 6 x 6, 8.5 x 11, and 12 x 12. It was winter colors of blue white and green with lots of embossing, silver, and would make gorgeous cards. I bought some to make tags with.

When I went to TM last week, they had some WRMK Foil Quill stuff. USB design drives for $4.99, foil rolls for $4.99 and the bold Foil Quill pen for $19.99 (normally $39.99). I picked up a USB drive because I thought the designs were cute (and can be used for regular cuts with a Silhouette) and thought about getting the pen, but decided against it for now.

I went a few days ago and all I came away with was a pack of enamel dots. Hopefully my store will start getting some new stuff soon, too.

I was in TM yesterday to pick up some watercolor paper and the cashier mentioned they hadn’t had a truck since before Christmas, but were expecting one this week. Hopefully that means new goodies will be on the shelves soon!

Mine has expressions for 149. I am seriously tempted as a back up. Do the words "on a freeze" mean nothing to me?

Went yesterday and there was very little new in the crafty aisle. I picked up a multi pack of sheer ribbon, the BoBunny christmas ephemera pack that I had been waiting for and cute kitten ephemera pack. The paper pads were in a huge heap but there was nothing new.

I’ve limited myself ( not quite frozen ) but then I see something I want and I seriously have to talk myself out of it. A self imposed budget is harder to stick to than a necessary budget. So far I’ve been good and not bought after I spent my limit but it’s a long way to February lol

I watched the YouTube videos and didn’t see anything that made me make a special trip to TM. Only thing I would go in for now is the Scotty Dog candy , which is a family favorite. Hopefully they will start getting more crafty stuff in now that Christmas is over.

I made a quick trip to TM on Monday night with my DH. He was getting something, so I went to craft aisle to look around. I was hoping to find the Foil Quill USBs. They only had one each of the pens, no USBs.
I did pick up a Gina K adhesive Dot Runner and refills. I was surprised to see her brand in TM. I should try it out to see if I like it so I can pick up a couple more refills. Is anyone familiar with her adhesive? Is it any good?
I also picked up a Crop-a-dile Corner Chomper with the large and small angle chomper. I've been contemplating buying that for card making, so even tho I'm on a spending mini "freeze" I grabbed that because I've never seen that before in TM and they only had one.
I also bought a LOVE & LEMON (never heard of that brand before) pkg of washi tape because the colors matched a card I'm working on.
I also got a We R Memory Keepers evolution Embossing Folder & Label Tape 4 pc package. It was birthday themed and I always need birthday card making supplies. I'm not familiar with the label tape, so it will be fun to experiment. It was only $2.99, so not a big splurge.
I got to chatting with the checkout clerk. I told her I was looking for Foil Quill USBs because I had read on the internet that some TMs had them. She told me that if I follow any YouTubers that do TM Craft Hauls the gals with the larger number of views and followers all tend to be located in big craft markets that get the craft shipments first. My market has 2 stores and they get craft product 2-3 weeks AFTER the areas where many of the YouTubers are located. She said it seems a little odd that we get the craft products so late because both of the area store sell a lot of craft products.
I'm going to be across town today, so I think I'll try to stop in to the other TM. I haven't been in that store since Oct or November.

Paige Evans Truly Grateful puffy stickers (shapes, not the words) and the pack with wood veneer and enamel dots, etc.
Shimelle Head in the Clouds is making a second round, this time with 4 exclusive stamp sets. She'd been asking about them for a while, so I knew the extras were coming, but this time the only extras are stamps. There are 4, my store got 2 yesterday. In addition to those, they got the puffy hearts from this collection for the first time and some repeat items...like the ephemera and 6x12 cardstock stickers.
There were also new stamps (if there are 4 instead of 6 now, my store got all 4 exclusives) for Flourish along with additional pieces from the line. There were 2 ephemera packs, but one was regular ephemera and one was all florals, so I'm thinking they were original to the collection. As I'm not a MH fan, I didn't pay much attention.
There were more thickers, LOTS AND LOTS of various Echo Park ephemera (all up to $2.29 now...I feel like their ephemera are overpriced to begin with, so the price jump makes me less likely to buy any even at TM), some 12x12 paper pads, Crafter's Companion embossing folders and Crafter's Companion and Tonic branded dies (lots of intricate lacy type ones).
I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff, but it looks like new things are on the way again. I have my eyes peeled for Truly Grateful items now...the 6x8 paper pad in particular.

My area has two top craft stores and we get stuff a week or two or three after I see some of on YT. Sometimes we get it the same week. I often wonder if there is a logic to the madness. They used to only have one warehouse. They opened a second one (I think it's in Arizona) a couple of years ago. The west coast missed out on a whole bunch of amazing stuff from MAMBI that summer because of the new warehouse. It sucked. Once they finally got stock in, my area started getting stuff first instead of a month after everyone else. It stayed that way for a long time, but lately there are a couple of people I follow on IG that live in Texas and Louisiana (I think, not certain) that get stuff the same week or the week before we see it.
As far as I was told, nobody was getting trucks the week of Christmas and New Year but there were a few stores (in Texas and Louisiana) that got some of the new stuff that is dated for January before the trucks stopped...stuff that we'd usually get first but didn't see...either at all or not until this week. I only just started to see the new stuff this week and even then, it's still bits and pieces so I'm going to be stalking stores next week to fill in the gaps.
There are some things that we don't get first ever. It all depends on the company and where they are. If the company is East, then it takes longer to get to the warehouse my store's inventory comes from. Since most scrapbooking companies are in Utah, the west coast sees most of it first. The west coast (or at least Vegas) didn't get any of the Chameleon Pens or Crafter's Companion magazines with the stamps and dies that I've seen the past couple of months. It was very strange. The predictability even in my own city (3 stores have the same truck day and the 4th has a different one) has changed a lot the past couple of months. One of the better stores hasn't gotten much of anything I consider 'the good stuff' when they used to be my best haul. I've just maintained my same routine of going to the 2 (usually) better stores and I try to hit a 3rd. That 3rd store stopped getting much craft in a few years ago, but the manager there complained (she used to work at one of the good stores for craft stuff and was promoted/transferred) so they've started getting more crafts. The 4th store has crafters that work there for dibs on merchandise, so there isn't usually anything to find and it's a waste of time for me to go.
I've no clue if that verbal diarrhea helped at all, but as with most things retail, you just have to figure out where you are in the pecking order. My Joann's and HL are at least a month behind the start of good sales and new stock and they don't have a consistent time frame for when they catch up, so I almost always miss out on the good stuff at those stores. HL told me October for marking down Copics and did it a few hours later because the manager changed his mind (this was the first week of September)...I was SOOOOOO pissed. At least TM is something I can be fairly sure I'll get what I want as long as it shows up here.

Yes, when they opened the new warehouse, we started getting items faster and then that kind of stopped. I will say that our shipments are now generally on time unless there is a snowstorm. I have three stores in town and two of them (that sometimes share a truck but not always) get items at least a week before my third store does and the store forty miles south of me does. But the store south of me gets the good stuff like our newest store does in town. My "good store" also got stuff labeled for February last week (first shipment of January). The good store is considered one of the top 10% in crafts, so they are the ones I usually hit first. Sadly, the manager of that store was in a very bad accident and has been in ICU since December 30th. The last shipment they put out was thrown all over. The manager always made sure crafts was put out first and organized since she knew how well her store did with crafts.

I can't recall their names.

Is anyone still seeing CP Merry Days or Snow and Cocoa at your store(s), or is it completely sold out? I haven’t been able to make the hour trip to the nearest TM, but I’d like to know if they have either line left before I drive over there.
