I have literally 200 photos to scrap from Thanksgiving to New years, with dgd's 1st birthday this week and ds1 thinking of a court house wedding this week also. I do have a weekend crop and a retreat coming up. What I need to decide is do I scrap all these fun current pics or do I finish 2 previous projects started at retreats. What would you choose? In the mean time I am gathering product for current photos. So many supplies!! I would scrap whatever pics I was excited about! That's would I would do too!!👌

I placed a photo order on the first. .
Was given estimated date of delivery as the 8th.
I've still not received a shipping notice.
Used the customer chat feature to ask if there was a delay. Told no delay. Confirmed prints should arrive on the 8th. Told to contact again if they are not delivered.
I'm feeling very skeptical. and bummed. Because I have time to scrap on the 9th & 10th and was really looking forward to it.
I guess we'll see, right?

Okay, overnight I get a shipping notice for my photo order. Says in transit & to be delivered the 8th. Yay! There's hope of a scrappy end to the week! 😀

I'm trying so hard to find my creativity again. To that end, I went ahead and signed up for a card swap for an event in September. I need to make 140 cards (7 designs, 20 of each) ... and I don't want to be doing it the first week of September!
So I'm organizing and gathering supplies up in sets of 20 and then choosing silhouette designs to use.
Meanwhile, I'm continuing to go thru all my SVG files on my laptop and delete all those .GSD files that I thought were so awesome 15 years ago LOL (some are SOOOO bad).
My goal is to get everything ready to go in the next 2 weekends - ideas, organized supplies, adhesive, etc.

myboysnme, I would definitely be itching to play with the most recent photos at least at the first event. If you start feeling the urge to finish the other projects, joy can always work on them later. Don’t think I could set aside 1st bd and wedding pics to work on an older project! I am back to scrapping Christmas today, after taking yesterday off. Played with one of the newest seasonal lines, and then one from a few years ago. Ordered the January monthly kit from our LSS. I already had some of this pp line from a different kit, and even used some today, but it’s a great winter line, so I know I will get lots of use from it. Hope your photo order comes in, LavenderLayoutLady. I want to print a bunch on Saturday when I am in town. I may print a couple on Thursday in a town where there is a print shop, but WM is much cheaper and I like the quality of their prints. ladytrisha, that card exchange sounds daunting until you think of dividing it up into smaller batches. Hope you find your MOJO along the way...

Yea, I feel like I can participate in this thread that I never chat in I usually don’t have much scrappy stuff to report! But so far this month I have completed 23 cards and have another 6 cut out sitting on my desk Unless I’m doing Christmas cards, I usually don’t do 6 cards in an entire month This year I decided to make cards for Cards For Soldiers. I hope I can keep going and stay motivated. All of these were made from one 6x6 paper pad. I still have paper left in that pad, but I feel like I’m getting bored with it. So I moved on to a few sheets of patterned paper. Then I’ll go back to a different 6x6 pad next week, I have way, way to many pads of paper I also completed last week in my planner and I’m staying current with this week in my planner!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year.
I haven't even been on the scrappy board since before Christmas.
I wasn't too scrappy over the holidays, I did clean up my room a bit. This weekend I have to re do my lawn fawn FB group card swap as mine was never received. I had a few cards I mailed not make it to their intended receivers..makes me so mad. All that work. I have called and complained to the post office, because the mailbox I mail my stuff from a lot of stuff has not been received. I mail all my work mail there too. But it does no good. Just a pain to have to go somewhere else to mail my stuff , instead of mailing everything where I get my mail at the community boxes. Anyway.
Finally the stuff I ordered from Scrapbook . com on Christmas day is arriving today. I bought the Lawn Fawn Hero Arts set with the Rhino's and a couple die sets that matched stamps I bought earlier. I may use that stamp set in my LF swap card. I will be breaking out my flippin awesome die set.
Saturday DH will be gone for most the day so quiet in my house. Other than laundry won't have much to do. My room is clean so I can start a project no problem.
Anyway off to check all the posts I have missed. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Been working on some of our Saturday sketches this week. I dont have the dates on them so I cant find the threads to post them.
Waiting for 200 pics to come. Got some 11x8 pocket page protectors yesterday. Excited to use them. I've done a few 12x12 pocket pages and I enjoyed the challenge.
Going to bible study at 8 to help with children today then errands so all my scrappy fun will probably have to wait until Tomorrow!

That’s what I was going to say, ‘scrappy randomness’ can be about shopping for scrappy stuff, thinking about scrappy stuff, organizing scrappy stuff, venting that you can’t scrap, etc.

I was on a roll after finishing up my DD but got stuck after I ran out of printer ink. Was planning on ordering photos but the shipping was a much as the order! Good thing my printer ink and paper arrived yesterday. I definitely found out the hard way that cheap photo paper is a waste of money. I printed on a value photo paper with my epson pm400 and the photos were junk! I'll not make that mistake again. I would have done better printing on cardstock.
I did start setting up my PL 2020. Since I took a year off I went through all my cards and refreshed my memory and loosely organized them. I can't get over how many cards from AE are just filler cards! But I have the front page almost done, just need to print a photo or 2 and add my OLW for 2020.

I have to hand it to Snapfish, they really did get my prints to me on time!
I'm elbow deep in Christmas photos and stash. Photos sorted, embellishments out, paper out. I've started on two layouts.
It's daunting & exciting at the same time! 🎄

I never checked in because my dog sports have kept me from scrapping much! But now that our 20 yr old is rarely home and dh is working a lot of ot, I seem to have much more time for my hobbies

Between yesterday & today, I've began sixteen 12 x12 Christmas/holiday layouts. None are completely finished, as even the ones that are mostly done need the little finishing touches.
I still have three more to start. I'm planning on doing it tomorrow.
I'm having a lot of fun with my holiday supplies.
And I've made several single photo, fun layouts, that are somewhat frivolous, but I couldn't help myself.

I hope you are feeling better now, and healing. I was hoping you weren't present on the board because you were busy with family get togethers over the holidays. Well, it's good to see you again, and I hope you aren't in too much pain and are recovering well.

I'm in the process of moving my scrapbook area from our dining room, upstairs to my bedroom. I have no idea where I'm going to put it all (who needs clothes) so I might need to do a purge... but not having to dig my desk out from random stuff the kids throw on it, might be worth the move. We'll see... So while everything is in transition I am not scrapbooking... I hope that changes soon.
I was excited to go to this store in my city that I've heard about. It's a hobby store (models) but their website says they have all kinds of scrapbook stuff. So today I went. They did had a lot of models, but I own more scrapbook stuff than they had for sale in the store and I do not have a gigantic stash. They had a Carta Bella collection pack, an Echo park collection pack, a few collections from a company I didn't recognize, two or three punches, Mod Podge and a few die cuts and stencils. I couldn't find anything to buy. It was sort of disappointing because I wanted to support a local business. Oh well...

I also put together four 8.5x11" page kits to work on later.

I completed another 8 cards yesterday I’m now up to 31 cards completed so far this year! I’m going to make a few kid cards with some cricut animals, so that will slow me down a bit. But it will be a nice change of pace

1Canoe2 posted today that their new collection isn’t paper! Does that mean they are no longer designing for American Crafts?
