The first sneak at Shimelle's new line just went up minutes ago!
Maybe you can amend this thread title and turn it into the Creativation video thread?

I don't have a video bit I did see this on Heidi's stories today. Do these look like 6x8 with a WIDE spine?

Heidi Swapp's new Storyline albums look so beautiful BUT they are such an odd size, 8x10! And rod-bound for 9 inserts. I don't know what they're smoking at AC but come on, give us regular large spine 6x8 or 9x12. Do it! I dare you. They'll sell, too. How exciting, right? Money, cash, ka-ching. The inside of these albums + insert system is shown here:

8x10? What an odd size indeed. Then again, I don't think I would have bought that system in other sizes either.

I definitely love the idea and will buy the pad and ink to try. My thoughts: I hate being a Negative Nancy because I love this idea and have wanted to buy a Minc for the last 2 years but I just can't break down and buy another printer. 1. I have to wonder how messy it's going to be and how often I'd really use it before the ink drys out (as she said it will over time)? 2. I'm kind of bummed that it's limited to what stamps you have. I have a stupid amount of stamps but not a lot of script or delicate images that I can imagine I'd want to foil. 3. This is also something you wouldn't want to take on if you were wanting to foil all your homemade Christmas cards etc. Having said all that though I still think it's exciting and appreciate the option for those who want a Minc but don't have one yet. I will try it!

The inside of these albums + insert system is shown here: If you read about all the storyline products, it appears like it might be a new planner system. It says it holds 9 inserts, which is the notebooks that go with it. The notebooks are planner inserts. So I don’t think it’s an album for our completed pages. I think it’s a planner, which is a big boo from me. Like we need another planner system.

I will try it! Totally agree. I was so excited when I first watched but it realistically, I feel like it's too much of a hassle every time I'd want to use it, especially since the ink dries out in a few hours. It's a great idea but I can't see myself going through all that work every time just to stamp a couple of things. That said, if I already had a Minc and/or made cards in batches, I would absolutely buy this to help make it more versatile.

However I will give Heidi big props for evolving and trying to stay relevant. Unlike other people we know. I’m trying to get the video to load and see this album.

Storyline is Heidi's documenting + journaling line which she has had with AC for 3 years now. These new rod system albums in the line are geared toward these projects as shown in the video posted above. She designed project pads and insert sets for the different types of projects (' The Scrapbooker', ' The Journaler', ' The Planner'). They are larger TNs, in line with the cheap large TN-style Heidi sold with her 2019 Winter Wonderland Christmas collection. But it's 8x10 now. She's still offering regular memory planners (they are shown at the end of the video). julie5 Heidi is awesome for trying new ways to document. She did the fun Deck of Days sticker sets with the albums that came with pre-printed who-what-where-date pages a few years ago.

The pink-teal-purple combo is all over Creativation, isn't it?
Here's Paige Evans showing her new line:

Ok I viewed the video and it’s a neat system. I scrapbook TN style now. Here’s my issue with it: it’s too big. I moved to TN for the smaller footprint on my shelf. And I don’t use a binder or cover while I’m documenting. I also don’t use a binder or cover for storage when the book is complete. So none of it is for me but it is still extremely innovative. The rods look just like elastics in TN covers.
Hey at least she isn’t trying to set us $10 notebooks and say that’s documenting.
