If your like me you watched every Creativation 2020 video on YT and made your wish list up.
Mine includes: TH ink pad storage tins Hero Arts landscape and plant themed stamps, square infinity die set and maybe a background stamp TH Distress Glazes and embossing dauber TH Ideology ephemera packs and collage paper TH stencils (they are my weakness) Spellbinders Layering dies, I liked how they could be used in multiples to make larger motifs.
My disappointments are:
HS toner stamp pad If she makes a smaller less wasteful pad then I would buy it. Stampers Anonymous stamps I’m not excited about any of their release except maybe the Baroque swirls.

I really like the toner ink idea but like you am disappointed in the large size pad. Wonder if it’s possible to make a smaller one?
Other than that don’t think there are any must haves for me. I like the look of some of the Stamp Market new products but won’t rush into buying.

I whittled my list down and my only *must* have is the soda paper from family night. I’m waiting to see if my LSS gets it. But I have to have that one paper.
Nothing else blows me away, some stuff is nice but I don’t ‘need’ it.
And I’ll 3rd the Toner stamp pad disappointment. In fact I’ve been tempted by a minc recently with the expectation of using the stamp pad.

I have already ordered some of TH's release of dies the layered bear and the heart beat one). And have placed a preorder with my LSS for the Family Night line and the little boy construction one. And the Tula & gnome dies. I am pretty sure some of TH's new glazes will find their way into my home. Love their bright colours. Minc: If I get a chance to get the toner ink bottle, I think I will pick one up and see if it works with some generic stamp pad felt or foam. And I really want the white reactive embossing gel for stencilling on dark colours and then foiling. Not sure if I would try any of the neon foils or flocking sheets. Not so much disappointed as just kind of meh... Not really excited about anything from WRMK. Can't remember a year when there was NOTHING from them that didn't catch my interest.

I am pretty sure some of TH's new glazes will find their way into my home. Love their bright colours. These are one of the only things from Creativation 2020 that have made my "to think about" list. I absolutely loved the effect during Tim's demo of these. I didn't find much to love this year. Nothing super exciting but a few things that may grow on me. I'm still waiting to see the new Prima Finnabair matte waxes being used to make up my mind about them. Most surprisingly, no stamp + die sets I've fallen for besides the lavender and sunflower fields from Hero Arts' Heroscapes line. That's odd. I usually always end up loving something for cardmaking.

anniefb pas2I'm pretty excited about the toner pad. The ebay cube at 3.75 is pretty expensive because it sounds like once the ink dries out the pad is toast. That's my only real problem, I will rarely do all my inking in one sitting, and it'll probably dry out before I use it again. Plus knowing there's a lot of waste, I would have preferred a smaller pad. The Heidi Swapp refills are pretty cheap, 4/$7, I think? It's 15ml of ink to load a pad, so 7.5ml would load a 1/2 pad, or 5ml would load 1/3 pad. I thought I'd try cutting one in half or thirds and get a cheapie measuring syringe from the pharmacy to measure my ink, and just tap my pad to the stamp. There's a starter kit that's got an original pad/case, 2 refills and the ink for $25, and with a coupon, that won't be so bad to try.

I am really excited about the tins for the full-size distress inks. I have been waiting forever to find a good storage solution for these.
There are a few paper lines that I am interested in, but this year I want to be more selective about the papers that I buy. I have way too much paper, and would like to just pick a few special pieces and pair them up with things I already own. That said, I want the Carta Bella Scenic Route line and Vicki Boutin's new line.
There are a couple of Tim Holtz stamps that I want as well, in particular the Tiny Type one with the little phrases. I love using word strips in my scrapbooking so should get lots of mileage out of that.
I'm sure there will be some other pieces I like as things arrive in my LSS, but overall nothing that I was super excited about.

I have preordered TH Vellum Scenes, Ticket Book, Clippings Sticker Book, and Theories Quote Chips. I've been on a ticket kick lately, and am especially excited about the ticket book! I am also definitely getting the deckle trimmer when it is available - this summer? I also like the Tonic Nuvo crackle paste, and Hero Arts Heroscapes. How gorgeous are those? I am on the fence about the toner ink pad, I think I will hold off on that.

I was disappointed in the Photoplay Monterey Bay collection. I hadn't seen this, so I looked at it on their website. ?!? I dislike intensely the cutesy trend for animals in general, but that otter-- what the heck?? It looks like someone drew a bear and gave it a starfish to hold onto. (it reminds me of the Three Bears from the Looney Tunes cartoons... pic from Wikipedia)

i-crafter finger ink daubers - it's a brush not foam TH embossing glaze Minc toner ink - wonder if we can make our own pad; guess it depends on what it's made of
Watching videos encourage me to get out my gel plate, trying perfect pearls with a embossing stylus for uniform dots, and maybe try perfect card adhesive.

I'm excited about the toner ink. Probably I'll only buy the refills, who needs a case if the ink dries up anyway. I can plan out cards and mass stamp for 2-3 hours and just foil them when I need them. I wonder if we can just paint paper to create our own toner paper and die cut it. Jennifer McGuire used baby wipes to make a temporary stamp pad , I'm wondering if we can do the same with this ink. Maybe we can even use the ink for calligraphy ( who can😂, I'm not one of them). I can see a lot of use for the ink. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Thanks--I think-- msliz, for calling my attention this evening to I Crafter! You are right: she has a lot of cool things. Love the Makin' Faces dies and that Amaze die: what a cool shaker card that would make with some little beads! The little finger brushes are cool, too. Not sure where to acquire any of those goodies, but I will keep my eye out for them!

If the pad snaps into the base on the 4 corners, it seems that if cut in half it will still secure into the base but you only use half the pad and half the amount of ink. I think using a syringe is a good idea too.

I was excited about the deckle trimmer too because I distress almost every edge of every layer! Will buy some of the new shimelle line and the new vicki boutin line for sure. I was also interested in the Tim Holtz glazes. I have never done any embossing but they seemed like a great thing to try! Overall though it was definitely a Meh Creativation for me.

Duo gel is it for me!!
I can't wait.
I don't want a laminator (so the toner ink won't work for me) for space reasons and I can't wait to foil more w/this gel using my stamps and stencils!!!!

The stamping foil was the only thing that caught my eye but agree that a smaller pad would be more useful and less wasteful. In one of the demo videos I saw she mentioned that might be a something in the future.

FYI, for people who are thinking about a new / different trimmer in general and like the idea of the Tonic Deckle Trimmer: the newest CM trimmer has a deckle blade available. So far they have 6-7 different interchangeable blades for their 12-inch trimmer. CM website-- trimmer and blades Each blade is $9.00, and they can be stored underneath the trimmer base. Not trying to change anyone's mind, but buying a separate guillotine trimmer JUST to get a deckle edge seems kind of a waste of space to me. (thinking in terms of one-purpose vs. multi-purpose tools)

I don't understand why WRMK is making a button press. Is it because EK makes a punch for Button Boy (a SUPER high quality press maker...it's where I bought my machine) and AC now owns EK? I really truly don't understand. You know nearly ZILCH went into R&D the way all of their 'innovations' (i.e. ideas taken from other people and turned into a poor quality product with pretty colors) turn out to be. I hope more people have learned their lesson and refuse to buy it. I'm tired of this branch on the AC arm taking people's money for low quality subpar products that don't work as intended. Beyond the likelihood of it being a piece of crap, flair isn't on trend anymore. It's not worth several dollars for just a couple of pieces (you can find them seasonally at the Dollar Tree, 8 for a buck, usually) and given the rust it causes in many areas of the world and the overall dislike for such significant bulk, as far as I'm aware, flair hasn't been popular for a couple of years.
But I love that someone above mentioned new Dylusions paints...hopefully that means some online shops (J's and M's never really carried a large selection...but with the smaller size and smaller price point, if HL stocks them I could be talked into using just a 40% off coupon on a few bottles) might markdown the current ones. I missed the few in the 99 cents sale from SSS (they were listed early in the morning when I was still sleeping). I only ever managed to get about 10 colors and there are so many others I'd love to have. They are a very fun paint to work with and I love that they are matte when they dry.

I can't even buy that CM trimmer in France. The UK CM distributor ships to Germany but not France. CM doesn't ship outside of the US + US territories. Heck.
