I thought it was just okay. I adored Adam Driver but thought Scarlett Johansson was awful. I just don't think she's a good actress.
And even though they were both at fault, it drove me crazy that she wouldn't say what she wanted and then complain that she didn't get what she wanted. Her character made me nuts.
And I loooooathed that speech by Laura Dern about the value of mothers. It felt so "actory" and not something any real person would ever say. I was shocked she was nominated for it - and I really like her as an actress, typically.

I have been through two divorces and I still really enjoyed this, HA. I feel I could relate to both characters as I was the wife in my first marriage and I was the husband in my second marriage so to speak..as in I could relate to both sides of the story although I had different circumstances going on in my marriages. Very well done.

I was totally underwhelmed by it. I thought Laura Dern was awful, someone should have tied her arms to her sides to stop her confusing waving them around with acting. She was so hammy.
