While I’m totaling enjoying the audio version of the book, the things we cannot say I feel like I should take a shot every time she says ‘incredulous’ . Small price to pay for an enjoyable read. It also hits home for this second generation polish, catholic girl who enjoys geneology.

I loved that book. It was my favorite read of 2019. I didn’t notice the repeated use of incredulous. I never notice things like that. My book club always picks up on grammar mistakes or repeated annoying words and I’m always oblivious!

Like I didn’t notice half the things about the Fifty Shades trilogy. I think I’m noticing it in this book bc it’s an audio.

I also listened to the book, but I just didn’t pick up on the repetitiveness.

Is that the book about the family with the special kid? I know special isn’t the right word, but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I want to read that book.
ETA no! I just looked it up and that’s not the book I was thinking of. I need to remember the name of that one.

I really hate when a good book ends.

I don’t think there was a kid’s name in the title. I’m going to PM you after the kid leaves for school.

I found it! Had to go through my dozens of Amazon emails just from the past few weeks to find it. You can read about it here: This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel
PolarGreen12 , I didn’t PM you since I figured it out. And now I want to read the OP book, too, since everyone liked it so much. ETA and now I see I had already saved the Frankel book in my Amazon Save for Later list. d’ohh, it’s hell getting old.
