I have always shopped Kohl's and loved their sales. For the past year or so my DH has been an avid Amazon shopper so we haven't gone into Kohl's for a little while. Last week I found a great deal on bedding and ordered online for pick up in store. We decided the other day to into the store to pick up a few needed things for the family. We all needed new underwear, socks and a few other things. I went into the intimates section and picked up 2 packs of simple Hanes cotton briefs. Never even thought to look at the price. I mean they are Hanes how much could they be. The boys and DH started looking at socks and they were $26 for 6 pair of socks. We all thought that was a little high and they decided to wait until we got to Target to pick them up. The kids got a few pieces of clothes as did DH. We went up to the register and our bill came to almost $500 for like 12 shirts 2 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of pajama bottoms and DH got a rain jacket, plus my 2 packs of underwear. When they rang up, the underwear came to almost $35 a pack....for underwear...HANES cotton briefs. Nothing fancy, nothing exciting. I decided I am NOT paying that much for underwear and put them back. We get home get online and Amazon has the same underwear for $9.99, so did Target!! I had gotten some clothes and and had buyers remorse after that and decided to take them back. I got back $135 for 4 shirts and a pair of pants. I went online to one of my favorite stores and I got 8 shirts and 2 pair of pants for $95. Has anyone else noticed that the prices have gone up so drastically??? The sales were really not great either

Hmm, no. I got ds 4 pairs of pants, 2 hoodies, and 5 long sleeve shirts for just barely over $100. 🤷♀️
The Hanes briefs dh and ds wear are the same price at Kohls, JcP, WM, and Target.

I got ds's briefs from Amazon one time and think they were knock offs. They were really thin and wore out quickly.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it. Their "normal" prices are crazy high and my store is usually dead unless there's a promo going on (% off and/or Kohl's cash).

It all depends on what the sales/coupons are like when you shop. I've not been shopping there as much lately due to that. The coupons are no longer good on pretty much any name brand stuff so unless it's a good sale plus Kohl's cash it's not worth it. I didn't check their after Christmas sales this year, but in the past I've gotten some good deals that way too.

Some people hate it, but if you work their system right you can get some good deals. I wanted some light blocking curtains for my bedroom at the lake cabin. I’d been looking at some off brand on Amazon and they would have been around $165 with Prime. (I needed eight panels.) Then I saw some Sun Zero curtains come up on a deal from Kohl’s that were on sale for around $16 a panel. After using $15 in Kohl’s cash and a couple other discounts I got the price down to about $13 each on average, and shipping was free too because it was over $75. Oh, and I ended up getting another $20 in Kohl’s Cash from the new purchase too, so if I use it for something on clearance for exactly $20, that brings the cost of my curtains down to about $11 and change per panel. It’s never hard to find some clothes on clearance for my kid there. ETA: And I got another $10 in Yes to You perks too.
I also bought all brand new quilts for our cabin beds there last summer for super crazy cheap. I bought four queen sized and three king sized quilts and I don’t think I paid more than $20-25 for any of them, and most of them came with two matching shams included.
Everybody knows you should never pay full price for anything at Kohl’s, LOL.

I only shop at Kohls if I have a 30% off coupon. Even with a 30% off coupon I make sure I'm getting a good deal. $20 for work pants, max $15 for a work top, $8 for a tshirt, etc.

With their sale prices, mailings with various % off and Kohl's cash which expires before I'm able to get back, not to mention determining the return value if something has to go back, it's just too hard to shop there.

I am not sure about Kohl’s prices but Hanes or Fruit of the Loom packaged underwear has always seems “expensive” to me, for what you get. I buy underwear and socks at Costco now. Way, way cheaper.

I absolutely hate shopping at Kohl's due to the "sale game" you have to play.

I only shop the dirt cheap clearance racks. I like getting $80 shirts for $5.

I am not a fan of Kohls at all - but I do have a $5 Kohls Cash that expires 1/31 if anyone wants it.
Kohls Cash is now gone.

I wouldn’t buy anything not on sale there because their “regular” price is pretty high. Although most everything is on sale all the time, you couldn’t pay full price if you tried. I usually wait until I have a coupon and a sale price. Last week jeans were BOGO 50% off. I knew I could get a better deal than that.
I laugh when they give you your receipt and say “you saved $106 today”. Not really.

I hate Kohl's with a deep, firey passion. I did pick up a husband from there, but other than that, the place sucks

Socks never seem to be a good deal at Kohls. I usually buy those at Target.

I won't shop there unless I have a 30% off coupon. You can easily get the coupon code every month just via googling it.

I still shop there but they have definitely raised their sticker prices so I *only* shop with a coupon on top of the item already on sale, so it’s not too hard to get things I want at a good price. I always leave with having saved more than I paid overall. Just have to pay attention.

I think their brands quality has gone downhill. And it really irritates me when they have a BOGO 50% on something you dont need 2 of, like bedroom slippers.

Socks and underwear are items we never buy at Kohls. I've checked infrequently over the years and they consistently seem to be priced way too high much of the time. I've had better luck with clothing.

I used to shop at Kohl’s more frequently and have had their credit card for almost 20 years but their coupon exclusions annoy me. I mostly shop on Veterans Day when you can stack free shipping, 30% off and $10 off $25 purchase. When you could still use a coupon on Columbia, adidas and Nike, I bought socks there. But, all of them are now excluded so I generally buy socks at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx now

I absolutely hate shopping at Kohl's due to the "sale game" you have to play. I can't stand it. Also hate Kohl’s and the ridiculous sales games. (Never mind that I can never find stuff that fits me right). Don’t get me started on their in-store online ordering I had to use when they didn’t have the size I needed in store. What an awful experience that took forever, and at the end of it wouldn’t accept Kohl’s cash or coupons. Never again. (People do like the throws I got for $8 before Christmas, though, so that was worth it, and I used to find kids shoes on clearance for really cheap when my kids were small).

I hate shopping at kohl’s. And we don’t have a Target here anymore, nor do we have a mall, kohl’s is pretty much it. 😡. Their prices are awful, and I don’t shop there enough to want to open a credit card or play the kohl’s cash game to the the “sales”.
Also the quality of their women’s clothing sucks.
