I made more suns & clouds for my memory planner as I ran out. Its a nice TV activity that doesn’t need thought or precision

Hello All, I have missed this place. So much going on in my life that is taking me away from my scrappy love. Unfortunately I don't see an end in site yet.
I will say I have lots of new product to play with when it all comes to an end. I had pre ordered Lawn Fawn, my friend and I split the complete set of distress glazes, they are shipping so excited to play with those.
We have planned NSD weekend. We are going to my friends house that we usually scrap at. There will be 4 of us. So we plan out our meals, and what meals we will order in. Everyone brings some snacks etc. Easy prep, and clean up. Its just a great time. I am so looking forward to then.

scrappington I hope you have time to play with those glazes and to let us know how they work for you. I was tempted, but so far have not seen any I could pick up and try. YAY for an iNSD scrappy weekend! A few of us will be at a LSS crop that weekend. Just registered last week. Looking forward to it. I want to figure out something happening here on the board for iNSD as well. Anyone with ideas can PM me... I spent the better part of two days organizing, cleaning and figuring out what I will be doing for the next couple of days when I will be Home Alone... Have a stack of photos and a list of titles. Still have some hockey pages to do, but also may go off script with some photos I found in my flurry of activity. Hoping I haven't lost any of the essentials while I was putting stuff away.

dald222 Hope your scrapping is going well. You are always such a cheerful presence on the thread.😀 It's weird to say, but the pandemic has taken away lots of events I had planned to scrapbook. School competitions, school trips, school portraits being taken (might still happen later), St. Patrick's Day events, spring break day trips to museums, etc. I am going to scrap the corona virus pandemic. Today I'll write a list of how it's personally affected my family, and also a list of what has been cancelled/closed nationally that is not common (like the sports leagues & Disney).

I think it’s getting to the point that it can’t be ignored if your truly documenting life at this time. If I were not currently doing my memory planner and I cane back to this period at a later date I might ‘ignore’ it due to lack of pictures to scrap, I don’t know. But if your keeping an ongoing project of some kind it became impossible to avert this week. At least in my life it did. I’ll be missing celebrating my great nephews birthday ☹️ So I’ll need to change that spot in my memory planner. I suspect I’ll soon be home way more often. Things like that will be in there.

My two days of scrapping got collapsed into one when I had another gallstone attack. Still got quite a few pages completed. Over the weekend I have worked on a couple more LO's.
I have been focussed on "catching up" my winter 2019-20 album, but as I am reaching the completion of that goal I am beginning to look ahead at all the things I WON'T be scrapping this spring: my ds's cancelled trip to Hawaii, dgk's cancelled swim meets, hockey tournaments, family gatherings... Have no idea what Easter will look like... Will my dgd get to have a graduation?
One of the most unexpected results of a crisis is how it throws you into limbo. I found the same when I was diagnosed with Cancer many years ago. We live three lives: the times we remember, the things we are doing right now, and our dreams of the future. This pandemic has thrown all those future dreams up into the air. We think we are in charge of our lives, but then something like this comes along and we realize just how little control we actually have.

How is everyone doing as we close out this month? I have been doing a bit of colouring. Received my March Simon Says kit last week and have been playing with their colouring book style card toppers and the water colour pencil crayons in the kit. Have done a couple and they turned out not horrible, so I may do a little more of that. Might get brave and STAMP something to colour, but don't hold your breath. My LSS called the other day. They are closing their store to walk in traffic for the duration, but are offering curb side and mail out service. Some backordered items for their February kits have come in so those are ready, as are their March kits. We arranged to have me pay by etransfer and have them mail the kits to me. I had some pre orders come in too (didn't even ask her what they were , but I said sure, add them to my package). And to supplement my dwindling tape runners, they added a couple of rolls of Sook Wang tape to the order as well. It went out Tuesday, so I am really REALLY hoping it comes in to my post office tomorrow! Always good to have something to look forward to... I am planning to set up a Google Hangouts session tomorrow (Friday morning), so anyone who would like to join in is welcome. When it opens, there will be a link in the first post in THIS thread. Just click on it and join the party! I will be working on a sketch from November I had not yet attempted, but you can work on anything crafty you have on the go. Also checking in off and on through the day with the 2PR #STAYATHOME 2 Disney edition crop that sleepingbooty has going. What are you doing to stay sane in this crazy month?
