I don't understand why anyone with an IQ above 5 is surprised about this. Well, except for the deplorables who voted for and still support this criminal. That is who he is and what he does. He will never be stopped until he is dead. He consumes, drains and then destroys everything he touches and anyone with a pulse can see that. If he is not voted out in November this country is essentially finished. As it is it will take decades, or longer, to recover from this corruption. My ire is with those who support him. I hope each and every one of those trumpers lives go down in flames. They are traitors to everything this country once stood for I'm a little confused by blaming Trump for the program. It was voted on by the House and the Senate, then signed into law by the President. It may have been a shit show, but it belongs to both Democrats and Republicans. I think I'm with busy on this one -- it was hastily enacted and poorly executed. The intent was in the right place -- to help small companies keep their employees paid for a few months, but it was a total mess when it rolled out. I'm not sure that the terms of loan forgiveness have been detailed yet. Companies may yet have to pay back the loans, depending on what happens. Every single evil thing that has gone down in the last three years can be directly attributed to trump and this is no exception. He leads and the representatives follow. I don't care if Democrat or republican, anyone who is a party to doling out money to the wealthy is doing his biding. This would not have happened, at least not so blatantly, under almost any other president.

Fuck them. Fuck them all. My husband, who didn't receive anything. Is trying to figure out how to stay open and alternatives if he has to close his current physical location. We may be screwed. These fucks aren't and never were in danger of losing everything and they took this money from people who are and don't fucking care. I don't get this pissed often, but this kind of shit does. I don’t want to like your post because I am mad as hell FOR you. I would venture to say thatWWWAAAYYY to many Americans like you were screwed out of the very program that the administration held up as a gold star for themselves. All the while they were handing money out the back door to people there could survive without.

I have really mixed feelings on this and am not big on the shaming businesses for taking loans that they were eligible for and qualified for according to the program. I also acknowledge that the program was a shitshow and tiny businesses had an extremely hard time accessing funds. That's wrong, but it's also the fault of how the program was built, not the fault of the businesses who *did* receive loans. Obviously, lists like that bring up A LOT of questions that need further investigation. But I'm not jumping in with the flaming pitchforks until we know more. I am all about shaming the businesses, the wealthy people who own them, and the bought and paid for senators and legislators that allowed this disgusting transfer of wealth to occur. While Kanye, Devin Nunez (that piece of shit) and other millionaires were receiving six or seven figure payouts, truly small businesses went under or were kept afloat by their far less wealthy owners. We frequent a Greek restaurant. The owner is our age (mid 40's) and, from our discussions, it seems he lives comfortably but is not tremendously wealthy. One of the waitresses told me he had been paying them as much as he could afford to while the restaurant was shut down. But yeah. Poor Kanye and the Lakers couldn't pay their people without a few million taxpayer dollars. This isn't left or right. The Dems signed off on these programs, too. It's about the fact that we live in an oligarchy and our middle class wealth is being transferred to the assholes that already own 99% of the world's wealth.

It's an interesting list. There were 650,000 recipients so, there's got to be more. Here's a few others that seem super fishy: (This one is a real eyeopener!)

Oh, look. It's our resident psuedo Independent, here to troll Democrats with a supposed "gotcha". I feel like "It's okay if you're a Democrat" isn't really a thing the left does. All of these people are parasites that feed off the middle class. I don't think "Democrats/Republicans did it, too" is a good defense for gross behavior.

I thought I'd included a pretty healthy mix of all sides in my links. I think we actually agree here. Sorry you don't approve, whatever.

And our newest candidate, Kanye: Kanye West's Yeezy company received more than $2 million through the Paycheck Protection Program, the Small Business Administration disclosed on Monday (July 6). Yeezy, an LLC formed by the musician and clothing designer, received a loan between $2 million and $5 million, according to the SBA. The company disclosed that it saved 160 jobs because of the program meant to help businesses struggling during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Passed in May, the PPP is meant to serve as a lifeline for small businesses battered by the pandemic in an effort to save jobs while employers are financially struggling. The loans are forgivable if businesses spend the funds on eligible costs, but the amount of forgiveness is reduced if a company reduces the headcount of full-time employees or cuts pay by more than 25 percent. The Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program let most companies with 500 or fewer employees apply for loans to cover the cost of eight weeks of payroll. The PPP loans cover up to two and a half times the company's average monthly payroll costs, up to $10 million with a cap of $100,000 per employee. Sole-proprietorships, independent contractors and some self-employed workers were also eligible — and because contractors could apply on their own their payroll costs couldn't be included in the application from the company with which they work. Between him & his wife, they couldn't just kick in $2-$5M to pay the 160 employees? That's approx. $31,000/person if they got $5M.

My eyes bugged out of my head today when I saw in a local newspaper that the Bridgeport (CT) Diocesan Schools received between $2 and $5 million and the Bridgeport Roman Catholic Diocesan Corporation also received between $2 and $5 million in PPP loans! What the fucking fuck!!!

Consider donating to Armenia Support Fund help provide COVID-19 aid to struggling small businesses in Armenia. How about donating to small businesses in the United States? Some of whom didn't get any so your DH could have $2-$5 million!!

My title was clear, my post was clear and this is a message board where others can contribute other parts that they might be interested in. I posted what I was reading at the time that the info was released. What’s “convenient” is that within a MATTER OF DAYS, these funds were tapped out by the big guys. I want to know if they were given a heads up. Furthermore, when you are trying to attempt to make it look I was being “conveniently” shady, the very least you could do is get your facts straight. Pelosi’s husband did NOT receive funds. He invests and a business he invested in (8.1% investment) received funds. In fact, he was not even aware that the business applied for funds. He has no active role in the business. This is a huge difference between those entities I posted and your example.
