I'm not surprised about his diagnosis, a pea linked an article about Trumps movements for the week prior. Chris Christie had been at quite a few events so he might have been exposed to the virus more than once.

Isn't that like half the people in the debate prep on Monday - pretty sure we're going to hear from Rudy soon.

We just need a thread that has a list of all of the people involved. I can’t keep track.
I keep holding my breath and hoping that we don’t hear that Biden tests positive.

And what should be concerning is that there is research that backs the notion that severity of the disease is related to virus load - how much virus one has inhaled. With multiple exposures generally being worse than single exposure. There appear to be a number of people who have been together multiple times over the past week - not wearing masks, not social distancing - who are all at higher risk now.

Why has someone labeled this “political?”
There is no political discussion going on. We are discussing public health irrespective of party.

While I certainly won’t wish illness on anyone, Stephen Miller is one of debate prep people that I think would benefit from a little first hand knowledge on what this virus can do...or at least a bit of fear and uncertainly as he sees those who were all around him test positive.
With this post I suppose I should move to the handbasket line. How quickly we fall. 😉

I think it's too soon - recommendation is 5 days after exposure, but even that will miss some people. He'll need another test to be confident he doesn't have it.

I call bullshit in that. he might well have tested negative but it doesn't mean he'll stay negative - that's why we quarantine for FOURTEEN days after a known exposure....not that any of these MFers care

Just because multiple studies have shown there is variation in when the viral load will be sufficient to be detected by testing - and assuming he didn't actually catch in on Monday/Tuesday when the exposure was worse. I' mean hell everyone and their brother has admitted to the positives, but Rudy is lying. If they're going to hide a positive it'll be Pence - not no one gives a damn Rudy. Now - a I'm not going to test or quarantine despite exposure - some of these other idiots are going with - sure. ETA Are you sure Rudy was at the Rose Garden? I don't see him in any of the pictures floating around - and I haven't seen a comprehensive list.

Everyone that was at that Rose Garden gathering should quarantine themselves for 14 days otherwise all they are doing is spreading it to others that might not have been there.

Sen Ron Johnson wasn't at the Rose Garden event, was he??? This is bigger than initially thought........ Of course it's going to be bigger. The first wave will be those who were exposed at the event on Saturday. Now through next week will be those who were exposed to people who caught it on Saturday. Johnson wasn't there on Saturday, but had lunch with Tillis and Lee during the week. Based on the pics of people at other events/travel earlier in the week, I'll be shocked if Kushner doesn't get it - he traveled with Trump/Hicks to several events earlier in the week.

Well, I'm a little excited seeing that Franklin Graham was mask-less at the #rosegardenmassacre, so better make room for me in that line. Ha, me too.
