Ugh. Hope they figure out what it is quickly and you and she have some good mother-daughter time if she's not in any pain.

I’ve just read this, and I’m so frustrated for you both. Do they think it might be connected to her EDS?

Immune response storm. Something triggered her immune system to attack her body (connective tissue). She has swollen joint areas (not the joint but connective tissue) and rash.
We are home and ready to eat In n Out and go to bed

I'm glad you figured it out. I know it's got to be hard with her other medical issues.

@sunnycamom Is it possible that she has a latex allergy or sensitivity to latex?
Several people that I know of that cannot eat banana or cantaloupe are also sensitive / allergic to latex.
Testing shows that there is some connection between these items.

Testing shows that there is some connection between these items. She is allergic to bananas, latex, and avocado. We have no latex in the house and no bananas or avocado as ds and I are also allergic to all 3 and ds is extremely allergic to latex.

Her IgG items are all latex free btw
Her infusion was Thursday. Rash started Sunday on her elbows/wrists/knees.
Both teams said there is no correlation between igg infusions and this especially since this has been happening 3 years and she hasn't had this with subq IgG

It is a common comorbidity with EDS and POTS. Good luck!
