I don’t care where he goes. Not to hear the T word in any news cycle ever again is my dream. Once he is out of office, though, I believe Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, N.Korea will drop him like a hot potato due to his irrelevance.

While I so wish this threat was true and this type of response didn’t go well on the Lindsay Graham thread (although it was a completely different type of comment)... They just showed the clip on CBS this morning and, to me, it sounded like sarcasm and a slam at all those that said that in 2016 if he (Trump) Won. In a perfect world he would have already left, but I would feel bad for “most“ countries if they ended up with him but so happy if the US got rid of him. We aren’t that lucky these days! ETA - I could be totally wrong. Ooh, watch out. 😂 (Not really, I have great respect for almost everyone who disagreed with me on that other thread.) The thing with Trump is that I’m not sure he’s capable of actual sarcasm. I say this with all sincerity: the ability to understand and use sarcasm is a more advanced level of communication. Little kids don’t understand/use sarcasm. I have my doubts that Trump, with his 4th grade level of comprehension and communication, is able to do so.

We all know it won’t happen. He’s the king of lies. They just showed the clip on CBS this morning and, to me, it sounded like sarcasm and a slam at all those that said that in 2016 if he (Trump) Won. That was the first thought that came to my mind. In my lifetime, in the 2 countries I have lived in, not one person who makes a public declaration they are leaving if the person they want to win loses actually moved.

He’s not going anywhere. While he knows these legal hassles are coming, he’s narcissistic enough to believe that he’s truly untouchable.

Although I do think that he will be in a world of legal trouble if he loses. Enough to tie him up in the courts for years. Although I don’t know why the IRS and NY department of Taxation and Finance didn’t pursue him YEARS (like a decade) ago. I just wanted to share the news and have a fun Trump thread: one that leaves me wishing and hopeful, rather than depressed and angry. 😅

Thanks, sorry I took the post without hearing the correct tone. I so hate to hear his whiny voice, so much so that I typically read transcripts because I can’t last 5 minutes listening to him. I wish I hadn’t heard his ugly smug stomach turning voice on the clip this morning. Listening to music to drown it out now. 😉😄

Weirdly, I find in this election cycle I try to immediately disclose anything that I think I might have to say or know. 😆

Didn’t his buddy Epstein have a secluded private island type place he would go to? Or how about the place in Seychelles where Erik Prince had his not so secret meetings? In any case, I’d prefer to see him rotting in jail for the rest of his miserable life, except that would mean taxpayers would *still* be footing the bill for his room and board.

Like I said in the thread about a peaceful transition of power, Trump wants to be a bully but deep down is a coward. Prison and bankruptcy scares the hell out of him, so he will not stay in the US. I also agree that Trump does not make sarcastic jokes. But he does say what he’s been thinking about, and now that it looks increasingly difficult that they can force a second term, people around him are asking where he would like to go. And it’s certainly not Iowa or Ohio or where else he has threatened not to come back to if he loses.
Lots of people suggest Russia, but it’s too cold there and he won’t want to play second fiddle to Putin, and Putin won’t play second fiddle to him. Personally, I think it’s obvious where he wants to go... just look at the Nobel Peace Prize stunt. Somehow the administration got the UAE and Bahrain to agree to a deal with Israel. Mnuchin is in the Middle East right now, in support of the agreement. And look, neither of those countries has an extradition agreement with the US. And also look there is a Trump Golf Course in Dubai, and another under construction.
The question is: do they want him? If he is as broke as it sounds where is the value of taking him? It would be hilarious if he gets all set up to go, but the plane is turned away because of COVID restrictions. A public humiliation. But if the US Treasury secretary is greasing the wheels somehow then the possibility exists for the need of his final act in office, prior to noon January 20th, to appear in the UAE to celebrate this momentous moment in Israel and Middle East negotiations. And maybe he will have to stay awhile.

How about Elba... that sounds like the perfect place 😉 No no! Elba is beautiful from what I've been told, much to heavenly for people like him. Can't wish him on the people or the tourist of Elba.

I just can’t figure out what the UAE has to gain by welcoming him in, other than to thumb their noses at Biden.

Nowhere that he has any freedom to enjoy some of the beauty of this world that he has tried his best to destroy. He needs to go to some deserted island in the middle of the ocean somewhere.

Israel, UAE and the rest of them have their peace deal, they have their trade deal and they're all banded together to be stronger against Iran. What else would they need him for?

As I said previously, I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Let’s talk theoretically, though. If he were to leave the country, would the US still be required to provide him Secret Service protection?
That would suck to get that assignment.

I think this suggestion is perfect. He doesn't deserve to be on a private or even a deserted island where it's warm and beautiful. Let him freeze his ass off in Siberia! Also it's a huge area where the population is widely distributed so he wouldn't be bothering anyone, and it's a place no Pea wants to go on vacation. I vote for Siberia.

He really is stunted, isn’t he? How many people here thought of a little child when he said this? When I was about six or seven (I think), I got so mad at my parents over something and yelled I was running away and never coming back. Mama asked which toys I’d like to take with me.

We can only hope. Miley Cyrus promised to do the same if her was elected, yet here she is. She wasn't going to be arrested and charged with crimes. Big difference.

My first thought that maybe one of our peas has a spare room in The Villages for him?
But in all seriousness, don't think that the UAE or Russia or N Korea wouldn't take him in. Even in his muddles pre-dementia brain, he knows things, and they would be able to ferret out truth versus 'his truth'. They would use him up for his security secrets, then the bone saws, or Polonium or secret prison camps would finish him off.
I do believe he is terrified of prison, but I suspect that he will be able to delay, deflect, deny until he dies.

Quite honestly, The Villages might be the safest place for him, and from his point of view, the most comfortable. Plenty of golf and endless hero worship. American fast food close by. He wouldn’t even need security. They could just create a militia/motorcade with their golf carts and guns, and escort him to Mar a Lago and Doral whenever he pleases.
