Received my Spellbinders kits today-large and small die of the month. Wasn't planning on making cards this weekend, but might have to crack that snowman die set open. They have some really cute cards on their blog.

DD17's school is going fully online starting tomorrow. They'd been in hybrid mode since September. I feel like I should mark the occasion in my scrapbook, but there's no way she'll let me take a photo of her. School puts her in a foul mood. I'll have to think a bit about this one.

Ask for a selfie that includes her & the laptop. Offer $ or take out in return.

Could you screen shot an announcement on the school's website or print the newspaper headline? Maybe later she'll let you get a photo.

I am finishing up some Christmas cards and other crafty stuff. I did a TN page yesterday and I do enjoy those little books.
Is anyone doing a November gratitude journal? I saw a YouTuber sharing hers and I wish I saw this last month so I could do the whole month. Maybe I will just use my TN for that purpose.

kellyr21, you could start your gratitude journal on any day and just continue for 30 days. I am not doing either that or a DD this year, but when i do those kinds of projects I don't do alot of prepping--just go page by page. Received two copies of The Creative Scrapbooker magazine today: one for my subscription, and one b/c I have a LO on page 21! The LO has two of my dgs's on it, so I am giving their family the magazine as a Christmas gift.

Also, thanks for your suggestion about the gratitude journal! I still want to do more on the crop you had so got a few things to catch up on.

I have been working on my Christmas cards. They will all be different, as I am trying to use up old stash.

So, I just spent a good part of the day organizing the photos I have so far for my 2020 album, and sorting them into layouts.
I counted 60 layouts, so that's 30 12x12 sleeves in my D-ring album. That's close to capacity. The year still has a month and a half left, and I still need to get a year's worth of photos from one more DD. It's gonna be close!

I'm excited to have them though. I wasn't sure what I'd end up with for the year since we spent most of it at home. I'm grateful that one of my DDs like to take pictures and share them with me.

Hmmm, I can either work on my Christmas cards today or dust. Of course, if I don't dust soon, I won't be able to find the cards I have already completed. Did I mention I hate dusting? Give me laundry or doing the dishes any day.

DD is laughing at me for saving the plastic netting from the turkey and the onions to use with my gel printing plate. That's good texture right there baby!

I was just looking through the pics I have uploaded so far for November.
Holy cow, the election and Trump's meltdowns, and Giuliani's cray cray at Four Seasons (at the corner of Dildos & Cremation)... It could be an album all on its own.
Anyone take photos to scrap today (Thanksgiving)? Most of mine are not people. No one wanted their pic taken, and since it's just household members, there wasn't that pressure to capture a moment before it's gone.
Also, Thanksgiving is going to get a layout in my pandemic album. The kids had art projects for virtual school (Turkey in Disguise), the food/dinner we had today, and cdc info, plus memes.

We're doing Thanksgiving tomorrow. I need to remember to take a few pictures. I am caught up with my 2020 albums. I have one set completely done and in protectors and the other set still needs some dates and then has to be put in protectors. I cooked most of the day and collected pine cones this afternoon. Gave them a vinegar soaking and have them in the oven right now.

I tried to take a video off DD popping open a tube of crescent roll dough this morning. I wanted to get a still of her face when it went POP because she always jumps. But I did something wrong with the camera and didn't get it. And then I just got busy and didn't think about photos. Oh well.

I took a photo of our kitchen table set with just 3 place settings. I did make it a little pretty, lol. None of us wanted our pictures taken either. Usually we sit in our dining room with 8-10 people. The good news is I didn't have to clear all my scrapbooking stuff off the DR table this year!

I finished my last 4 Christmas cards last night. I mailed about 2/3 of my cards on Wednesday night.
I am excited to get back to my regular scrapbooking.

Made my first ever altered book journal for my sil for Christmas. I included lots of spots for her to add photos and write. I picked vintage winter/Christmas postcards featuring only flora and fauna (no santas only elves and gnomes) as the theme. I thought the project would help me use up some of my huge PP stash, but no. I ended up scanning my PP to reprint on thinner paper. Never thought I would be looking for non-cardstock patterned paper!
