I have mojo & photos, but no time.
All my holiday stash & photos are sitting on my desk, but between helping the kids with virtual school, work, and someone sleeping in my scraproom, i couldn't touch it yesterday, won't be able to today, probably not tomorrow, maybe Friday?

Been avoiding this layout since I knew what I wanted it to look like when I was on the beach at St Maarten. For some reason, layouts that I envision when I take the pictures take me the longest to create. The guy that created Yoda has a little Yoda museum in the Caribbean and it was one of the highlights for my son. I stayed on the beach. Still needs to all be glued down, but tomorrow is another day.

I'm excited about something silly. The Dollar Tree near work has changed their craft aisle, and now have their stickers organized on the wall, in a fashion you can actually see them.

Dollar Tree has been getting more $$ from me for crafts than Tuesday Morning here lately. I was waiting months for the new craft stuff to show up where I live...so definitely understand the excitement!

My page protectors arrived. Does this means I have to start organizing the pages I have put together this month?
The glue glider refills also landed in my mailbox yesterday. I think that is a sign from the Scrap Gods that I should just keep on scrapping, and worry about organizing later. Right?

View AttachmentI find these the hardest to construct as well. Much easier when I have no expectations until I am ready to start the pages. But if other people's opinions count, your two pages look PERFECT to me!

I am happy to say that I recently finished my 2020 12x12 PL Album. I am working on getting 2019 done, I decided to go back put an album together for 2019 about a month ago, as I’d started but got derailed in February 2019 with a remodeling project that made getting to my craft area difficult. I have most of my 2019 pics printed, and have done Jan.-March, so I am slooooowly making progress.
I did start my 2021 album today.

Tonight I started seven more holiday layouts.
And just now while watching news, I realized I haven't started my December pandemic layouts.

There are lots of SBR peas I miss and hope they pop in. I went to a crop Fri and Sat and completed about 30 pages. I am working on this past Christmas and winter but have lots left to do. I think Dec will be its own album for my DGD. Cute pages though!
I just paid for a crop in Feb. Normally it's a 3 day retreat with my scrap bestie, but she is self quarantined. I got an idea from another friend to sign up for Sat and Sun and stay over just Sat night, so I am looking forward to that.

Me again. I was in the car to go get DGD this morning and I got a text from DIL that she is home today. Better late than never, I guess! Anyway, I went back in the house and decided to use the opportunity to organize! I pulled out a bunch of my folders of product and photos and got them sorted and ready to go to a crop in the future. I have probably 25 or more plastic envelopes with product and photos.
Now to be clear, this is 1/100th of what I have that needs to be organized. I woke up very early Saturday morning and decided to search Amazon for some 10 inch boxes to sort stickers because that is the size the shelf will fit. I found some and ordered 10 of them. When they arrive I will take the 500 new stickers I bought at Michaels dollar clearance and sort them by category. I am very excited about this.

After making Christmas cards with my niece, I could not find my favourite slimline card die. But all my dies were in a bit of a jumble, so I assumed it would turn up. I had cut some extra card fronts with it, so wasn’t too worried.
Last week I put away all the dies, but that one wasn’t with them. I phoned my niece to see if I had lent it to her, but I hadn’t.
This morning, I was looking for Christmas tree dies, and guess what? There was my card die filed with dies I hadn’t even used! Guess it wanted a rest...

I need to order some more card bases and envelopes. I plan to make a bunch of Valentine's Day cards for the shut-ins from church and my friends.

Yesterday I finished my DD pages, and put them into their album.
I didn't use any of my holiday stamps, which made me wonderful, do I still want them? And if I don't, what should I do with them?
I still need to tidy my desk from the mess.
Hopefully I get in there today.

Congrats on finishing the DD, LavenderLayoutLady! I have a TON of stamps, both Christmas and general, and I go through phases of using them. Sometimes a different product--like a new ink or die--or an online tutorial will get me going, using never-before-inked stamps. I had never figured out colouring stamped images before, but after an in person class and some help from Youtube, I have found a way to use Vicki Boutin art crayons with a water brush and have enjoyed that process, so that may lead to my pulling the stamps out more often. I am hoping to put some of them to use with my new HS toner stamping kit I got for Christmas. Have only used it once, and then not with the stamp pads, but it does open up foiling my stamped images. The one day I played with this, it made me think about the TH lift ink pad, and think I want to play a little more with that system, too. So since my whole excuse for my stash is "I collect possibilities", I need to hang onto my stamps just in case a fun opportunity comes along to use them...

I finally put a photo order in for the bulk of my 2020 photos. I'm still waiting for DD to give me some, but this will get me started. I'm planning to start sorting and cutting them apart on Saturday night during the virtual crop.

Hi everyone! I am working on some "just because" cards this week and a new video. My mojo has been slow this year but I am enjoying seeing all your creations.

I grabbed ten minutes last night to look through my December pandemic photos & screenshots.
Might throw together a layout this weekend.
I've been thinking about how I want to proceed with my pandemic album. It's been a year. It's quite full.

My storage boxes arrived and I put them together. I then took about 5 bags of stickers to sort them. Well this is going to take more thought than I had anticipated. Like do sea creatures like dolphins, whales, fish go with beach or with animals? This is going to take some thought.

I am tacking my scrapbook loft. It is a mess of harder supplies, years f memorabilia and half finished projects.
Yesterday I cleared off my stand up desk to work on a Valentines project. Today I will clear some stacking bins so I can see the tv while I work.
It’s overwhelming and I get so discouraged. This year I’m determined to see it through and be able to work up there without tripping over piles of clutter.

UGH!
I have done 14 months of the 20 I need to catch up on...just have the last half of 2020 to order. With free shipping and the same price per print with Costco, I order 1 month at a time because they get super jumbled and it takes me hours to sort them all out properly if I don't.
So, first month's photos arrived yesterday but didn't get them from the mailbox until this morning. They look HORRENDOUS. These are worst prints I have EVER received from Costco. It's like a fax of a fax of a fax...everything is pixelated and the colors are super dark (I edit EVERY SINGLE PHOTO and that includes making them brighter when necessary). I have edited, photosheeted and uploaded the photos in the same manner that I've done for years. The only difference is that this is the first time I've ordered photos in 20 months. So now I'm worried that maybe the quality has tanked just as they're closing all of their in store photo centers and may have to look at finding a new place to get photos done. I'm not worried about receiving adequate customer service or refunds if necessary, however.
Now I am going to be stressed about the remaining 13 orders and potentially having to have them ALL redone (or refunded if they continue to turn out badly) if the issue isn't isolated to this first and possibly second order (the first 2 months were ordered and processed only a few hours apart). The woman assisting me says that it looks to have been a bad rendering for that batch, but who knows. I stopped picking them up in store because the in store quality tanked at my warehouse, so until this is all resolved, I'm going to be concerned that their photo processing has just tanked entirely. I've never been upset with online orders before today and in spite of the wonderful help I'm receiving in this order and her offer to remain in contact to assist in any potential issues with the remaining 13 (I won't order the last 6 until/unless these ones turn out right), I am incredibly disappointed. Because I have to wait for them to be reprocessed. Because it's a headache to have to wait for all of these orders before I finish ordering the last 6 months. Because it makes me anxious and will cause me to distrust ordering in the future. Because it messes with my plans to do my album prep.
I'm probably overreacting, but this has certainly put quite the damper on my day. I was really looking forward to wrapping up my orders in the next couple of days and while I'll continue to edit everything, I'm at a standstill now.

Oh I hear you, scrapaddict702. I usually print my photos at Walmart kiosks, using one hour processing. While I am editing, I am thinking about all the scrapping I will be doing with those photos and I am happy. But if a batch turns out bad, it ruins my whole day. Then I HATE the editing process, afraid of what will happen if these don't turn out either. Hoping the package you received was just a bad batch from Costco, and that the others are fine. And if that is not the case, hoping that you can resubmit without too much time and effort on your part. Do you save the edits when you do this from home? Of course, I can't do that from the kiosk.

And if that is not the case, hoping that you can resubmit without too much time and effort on your part. Do you save the edits when you do this from home? Of course, I can't do that from the kiosk. I save everything...when I pull things to order, I copy them away from my bulk storage and am so nervous I'm going to lose something important that when I consolidate the edits back into the bulk of the photos, I add a dupes folder for the originals on the off chance I saved over the one I copied. Regardless of that, though, I jumped the gun and put them all in my backups out of the folders that I uploaded from. I shouldn't have done that even if they arrived in perfect condition because I date the backs of all of my photos...so instead of working on editing more photos this morning, I undid much of the consolidating so I can date them all when they do arrive. The upside is that I edit almost 100% of the photos I order, so I was able to just move the duplicates folders which was pretty quick once I realized that would be the easiest solution. That'll be good enough for dating photos, but if I have to upload everything from scratch because the rest of my photos arrive looking awful, I'll have a bit more work to do.
Digital storage is cheap these days. Just bought a 5TB storage drive for $110 at Best Buy, which is crazy to me. It was even cheaper during black friday, apparently. No point in saving over anything or deleting stuff with this much storage!!
I'm gonna drown my sorrows, though. Echo Park has another sale up so I'm going to do some shopping.

Since my most recent Tuesday Morning trips have been pretty much a bust, I decided to splurge and get a new set of dies that make a large viewfinder. Supposed to show up today. When I scrap my trips, I always make thumbprints of all of the pictures I take in order to plan my pages and order my pictures. Now I can use some of those thumbnails in the viewfinder die.
