I get the secrecy about names of other people (or your own if you were being careful from the start). I've seen the amount of information that is publicly available in the US. It's a lot and frankly scary to this European. I can't believe you can just dig up a person's past and current addresses, immediate family, phone number, arrest record and other legal matters just like that.
What I don't get is making a big deal about it. Don't say the name, ok. But don't say you won't say the name. Don't plant your buttocks right in the void so you lead the drama. Let people speculate if they must (and if they even think about it) and ignore, ignore, ignore. "I got married! Such a beautiful day. Had fun! Great cake. All's well. Thanks, moving on."

Anyone else find it weird that she has no problem posting actual people's mailing addresses on the fancy lettered envelopes that she makes but her dh's name is super private? Mailing addresses posted public is way more risky!

Mailing addresses posted public is way more risky! She has said that she has permission from the people to post their addresses. Personally, I wouldn't want my address like that, but I'm not wanting one made by her either.

Mailing addresses posted public is way more risky! Yeah that’s dickish to me too. Unless she has permission to post them. But I think she would do it anyway to show off her fancy ass lettering.

You can actually submit your name to get a mail art card from her, so some of her viewers do that. Before she started that system, she used to do envelope art to "public" addresses, like Jennifer McGuire's PO Box or the owner of Simon Says Stamp (at SSS HQ). I agree that I wouldn't want to put my address out there, but obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion! Envelope art is kind of tricky for a YouTube channel...it doesn't make sense to spend so much time on an envelope with a fake address, so I understand why she gave her viewers the ability to opt in if they wanted.
