I participated in the 365 Quilt Challenge. It was a block a day for a complete year. My quilt measures 100"x100" because I added a couple of borders. Without the borders it's 90"x90".

Beautiful. I can't imagine doing a block a day. I have enough trouble keeping up on a block a month. Though to be honest if I didn't do practice blocks it might be easier.

THANK YOU everyone!!
The small dark blocks finished at 3", the light blocks for the most part are 6" and the corners are 12". I learned a lot.
It was amazing. The directions for each block are really well written. There are packets to help with techniques if needed.
It is offered through a woman who lives in Australia. Google it if you're interested. It's free!

Your quilt is really beautiful. I love your use of light and dark and terrific colour choices I'm sure making a block a day was a lovely distraction from recent events, a happy part of your day (unless you had to get the seam ripper out )

That's beautiful! How many different fabrics did you use? Was it a kit or did you choose them all?

That turned out so gorgeous! Beautiful work!!! Tell us more, did you pick out your fabric all at once in advance, did you use your stash, did you quilt it yourself?

That's beautiful! How many different fabrics did you use? Was it a kit or did you choose them all? I honestly don't know how many different ones. I found a batik that is purple with gold, teal, blues in it. I built my stash off of that. It really wasn't bad once I stepped back to figure it out. So, my recommendation would be to find a fabric you love. Then pull colors out of there to add to it. The creator of the project does tell you how much fabric you need for each color grouping. I bought extras as my back is created from the front fabrics. The instructions are good, really good. Once you get on a roll with this you're good.
