It's too expensive for me, but just wanted to say that I LOVE their turnabout stamps. I own quite a few of them and they are really addictive, so all of you wanting to learn how to use them - it's so worth it! I love playing with the millions of colour combos you can give any one background using a turnabout. Really fun, and I bet the camp with be awesome. I can't wait to hear how it goes for everyone.

For those that signed up for this...did you get your box of supplies? I got mine today but I haven’t opened it yet! I’m debating about opening it now vs. waiting until closer to the course. I suspect I’ll end up opening it soon though.

However, I’m thinking about waiting until closer to the class—treating it like a birthday present and waiting until closer to the event to open it. It’s just a weird way I’m wired I guess.

I'd be looking just because. Then again, up until I was in college I knew what every Christmas present was before I unwrapped it.

(ETA Assuming you know what’s supposed to be coming.)

I looked! It’s packed. Some stamps/dies aren’t my style but will be fun to use and give away or donate. Other items will be able to be used for a long time.
C&9 was was helpful beforehand. I had emailed to ask if something I wanted to buy might be included, though I doubted it. They told me it would be so I wouldn’t buy one and have an extra. : )
My counselor is Lydia. Midnight Cabin.

That’s a great point! Thank you! I think so too. But it dawned on me, how do we know? Oh wait, maybe the booklet with the cards lists the supplies. I didn’t look at that other than to see who my counselor was. Back I go.

I received my box and I am #teamstardust 💛 I have been a Concord & 9th lurker, so I had none of their products until my box arrived.

I got my box on Thursday and opened it right away. Im really bad with waiting 😆. I love everything. Some of the stamps maybe not quite my style, but it will work well for masculine cards. Haha...I had to delete half of this post, I don't want to ruin the secret and the anticipation for those who want to wait with unboxing. Over all I'm happy and can't wait for the classes. I'm in the Honeysuckle cabin 💗 Becky Roberts is my camp counselor.

No interest here.
If I am going to spend $275 on crafts, I want to choose what I am buying.
I have no interest in the classes they described. (I’ve been making my own 3D flowers for at least a few years.)

It looks really well organized and a couple of the extras were funny. I did do inventory of the main pieces to make sure nothing was missing.

I received my box and I am #teamstardust 💛 I have been a Concord & 9th lurker, so I had none of their products until my box arrived. That’s quite an introduction! I have a few of their turnabouts, some dies, and one stamp/die set is used a lot. I haven’t used the blotchy background stamp in it (though probably will), but have used it for everything from sympathy to thinking of you, and for backgrounds, autumn colors, metallics, etc. The size creates a focal point, but I’ll also stamp it or parts of it randomly for a background, watercolor, heat emboss, and have used an Els Elizabeth Craft technique where extremely fine glitter of hers is applied through lace for texture - even though I’m not a glitter person, hers is worth it, almost velvety. A small leaf is also included. (There are tons of great leaf stamps/dies out there and I have a lot. This one is just the most reached for, especially when I’m unmotivated but need to make a card.) concordand9th.com/collections/bundles/products/lace-leaf-bundleThat was OT.

My counselor is Lydia. Midnight Cabin. My condolences LOL Two I’d love, two fine, one I’m not familiar with and... ba da boom. And somehow I just knew. Karma - have to learn to appreciate everyone’s skills and gifts? It probably doesn’t matter. Maybe.

I misunderstood my camp counselor selection...haha my button is light blue 💙 so is Laura Bassen- oceanside. I don't know her, I better check her out on YouTube. Or her blog. She’s RGBIV rainbows (though not necessarily the shape of one), graphics (degree in graphic design), clean & simple, rainbows, crisp, great balance, rainbows. Self deprecating sense of humor and a really nice person. When I started making cards, I fell in love with a stamp/stencil/die set that was retired. I found the pieces on a few blogs, and wrote to the bloggers offering to buy them if they ever got sick of them. Each had one of the three pieces. Laura sent me the die, wouldn’t let me pay, and included a card she made. When her family was moving from the U.S. to Germany a while back, she put together a bunch of grab bag Priority Mail boxes stuffed full of stamps/dies/stencils/etc. First come, first served, and she only charged postage. www.laurafadora.comTrade you teams. Will send you my button.

(I don’t know Lydia at all so whatevs. I don’t plan to participate in the Facebook stuff anyway.) They sure crammed a lot of stuff in those boxes! Not all of it is my style but it should be fun. Even the stuff that isn’t my style, I think I’ll at least learn something from the classes regarding techniques.

I’ll stay put - and we all go to all the classes, so it will be fine. Anyway, the connection is one sided (fan). I can’t imagine she’d even remember.

My crafty friend just loved everything in my box, now she is sorry that didn't buy it. She is coming over and we will do the classes together on that weekend. If any of you want to sell some of the stamps and dies she might be interested. Please let me know or PM me after the camp. Thank you.
