Apparently a banana peel put in top inches of soil will draw earthworms to the peeling.

After a short time, my Mom was tired of having them in the yard so we flipped them Before I even finished that sentence and read "flipped them" my brain had image of dirt all over the yard and free wiily-worms.π I guess I took "flipped" a bit too literally. βΊοΈ

Apparently a banana peel put in top inches of soil will draw earthworms to the peeling. (who knew?) About 18 months ago I was briefly addicted to YouTube time lapse videos on red wigglers devouring whole pumpkins, mounds of white rice and cucumbers. Clearly I needed a life. π€£

My father in-law had a worm farm behind the shed in their backyard. The grandkids loved helping him with it.

I fed the worms today, they appear to be happily adapting to their new home. They really like blackberries!
