I was able to score tickets to tonight’s Game 2 in the Washington DC v Boston series for Dh and ds1. It is very limited capacity at the Capital One Arena. They are having a great time! I wish I were there, but they only sold tickets in 2’s or 4’s. How is your team doing so far in the playoffs? We won game 1, but that doesn’t say much at this point.  |

Dh is a diehard Blues fan. The game just started, so we will see. They barely made it into the playoffs sooooo....but we are hopeful. 😀

Lol It was a good game though. This is going to be an intense series I think, especially with Chara being a Cap now. |

Nothing like playoff hockey ! My team, Dallas Stars, had their turn last year. 💚
Penguins are my second favorite. My son has loved them forever. He’s been a long time season ticket holder, and he lives out of state.

Yeah!! Thanks for starting the NHL Playoffs thread - I came here looking for one and was planning to start one if no one else had. I'm Rocking the Red with elaine too, watching the Caps. (Glad your DH & DS got to go to the game - I'm jealous!) Too bad they lost in OT, series tied 1-1, but what a great couple of games it's been so far! Very intense - I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the games in the WSH-BOS series go to OT. I love playoff hockey, but it sure is a nailbiter! The Caps lost Lars Eller in the 2nd period and he didn't come back for the 3rd - I hope he's OK. I didn't watch the post-game show (hardly ever do) to see if they said anything about him or his injury. Yikes, we've been plagued with injuries at the tail end of the season and now into the playoffs too. My western team is the Avalanche (DH is originally from Denver), so I'll be following their series with the Blues too. |

My team does not play until Wednesday night. I am expecting great things this year from the Oilers. McDavid and Draisaitl are on fire.
It will be interesting to watch when the teams start playing teams they have not met this season.

Im a Rangers fan waiting for October and rooting for any teams that will eliminate all of our East rivals.  After all the Tom Wilson nonsense at the end of the season and the Rangers front office drama that finished the season, I'm spent. |

Thank you for posting this thread because I didn't realize the playoffs had started. Now I can call my 7 yo nephew and ask him about the Wild and will be the best aunt. HA! I somewhat follow NHL because my nephew lives and breathes hockey so I am trying to figure it out. He is a huge Wild fan. One because MN is so close to us and two because of Luke Kunin (he has type 1). My nephew has type 1 so he has been able to meet Luke. Now that Luke has been traded to Nashville my nephew is also a Predators fan as well.

Diehard Oilers fan here! Can't wait for Wednesday to start the playoffs against Winnipeg. GO OILERS GO  Family favorite is the Caps, because my son and husband love to watch Ovechkin. I think he is pretty good too. lol Hope they win their series cause I hate Boston   |

I have been an Oilers fan since I was a teen ager and desperately in love with Wayne Gretzky. It's high time they won the Cup again. I am also hoping for the Canadians to beat the Leafs
Like others I can't wait till teh teams get to play someone they haven't already played a hundred times this season. it will be interesting to see what the Canadian teams end up doing once they have to travel to the US

My team (Dallas Stars) are hopefully resting and healing and getting ready for October. I was disappointed we missed the playoffs but honestly...we wouldn't have gone far anyway. I do love playoff hockey though!! Good luck to all the teams!! Well, almost all of them.  |
