schroema, those pages are delightful! I love all the different takes on the 9 square grid, and I really want to give that split square (into 3 triangles) a try: you did such an awesome job with that design in different sizes. Oh and all my dgd's had Maplelea Girls (same idea as American Girl). I would have paid a FORTUNE to take them to that camp!!!

only got 2 done yesterday This made me chuckle. I don't think I ever get 2 pages finished in one day! I really like all the enamel dots and squares you use on your pages. That black background on your group photo is very striking. This is my son and his family. Family 2021

Here is my LO for kitbop 's Recipe Challenge. I stole the idea for the split square design from schroema . grad 92 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr (1) Contrasting background pages, (2) Basic Grey supplies from 2015, but the photos are 29 years old, (3) handwritten story of 50+ words, (4) I have the globe pulled out, but didn't get it glued on . Will post a quick pic of it in a bit. (5) two tabs--one on each page, (6) lots of black and blue.
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4), R-3 six photos for Donna Challenge (30), P-1 five wooden letters (5), P-2 puffy numbers (1), P-4 blue foil (1), S/I-banner (1), C/M-3 gold numbers (1), T-9 inked edges (2), W/T-3 journaling (5), Th-1 grad LO (1), Th-6 six photos each almost 30 years old (90), N/S-2 six photos (12), N/S-7 zero cs (1), Re-1 all the components (10), O-6 final Shimmelle class (5). Total: 169

scrappyrabbit, I am loving that road trip paper. Maybe my heart is still stuck in the 50's. LOL. Your scenery reminds me of our often trips from Utah to Idaho. Not exciting, but we are going to something good. I love all the flowers and the cards tucked behind your Bodega photos. That is a very striking layout. Linda, your DS is going to love you for all the work you have done on his album. Not many young men would have such a well-documented album of their military service. I am enjoying it, but feeling glad that DH finally retired from the military. kellyr21, your page is gorgeous. I left more love in the gallery. I thought of you every time I saw a palm tree in CA. Love the trees in the background of your photo. grammadee, you did a wonderful job on the recipe challenge. They are too hard for me. There is love in the gallery.

angel97701 That tree card is gorgeous! What is the stamp set? I'm a sucker for trees! It is a Pink Fresh set called "Through the Trees" I recently purchased at the Craft Warehouse in Oregon. You might be able to order it online?

Catching up, how is it the 8th already?! On the weekend I spent 2 hours working on die cutting tiny eyelets and soles for my Converse - crafted through 2 episodes of Bridgerton (rewatching) made the task a little less tiresome. And I cut scraps into banners and tiny envelopes with each pass through the die cutter to be more efficient. I got 6 shoes finished. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Here's the process for the eyelets. I put a tiny dab of glue around the holes and use my pokey tool and a thumbnail to put them on. If it didn't look so cool I 100% would not have the patience. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I copied the design I liked best from my postbox cards and made 3 more as identical as I could manage. I have a big stack of postboxes cut out. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr For my shop, I made a father's day/cool person who remembers boom boxes card. The background is a patterned paper. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Finished a bee card with bits I had leftover from previous cards. I need to stamp and color more bees! June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Finished a couple of long-in-process Doodlebug cards: June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I struggled so much with the design for the limes but I finally bought alpha dies and I love how it turned out. The white background is an embossed paper that is vaguely lime shaped. Today I spent a couple of hours making my ScanNCut fussy cut all of my 100 day coloring pieces and then a bit more time sorting them all into pocket pages in my (now full) die cut binder. Need to make lots of cards! June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I've been earning lots of points by crocheting my way through TV time every night. This is a colorwash/stripe version of the Meadow Crochetalong blanket by Attic24, her beautiful color choices and stitch design. attic24.typepad.com/weblog/meadow-stripe.htmlJune share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Simply Amazing!!!! I used up a pile of scraps (these are the leftover strips after I make cards from a sheet of 12x12 paper) and some of my new die cut sentiments to make these cards. I managed to make every single one different without even trying. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

lenigirl08, your Father’s Day projects are wonderful. The card to Papi is so sweet. It has been so hard to be far away from loved ones for so long. I’m glad you took the plunge and learned to use mixed media. It is still scary for me, but I’m trying. Thanks for sharing! azcrafty, three totally different looks with that die. I love what you did with it. It makes beautiful waves and beach, and sparkly waves and land, and that sunshine card is gorgeous. Your use of the cacti, beach accessories and tiny birds really make these special. You do beautiful work. @sunnycamom, that star paper on your bowling page is the best. I love all the printed strips you have used around the page. The title is perfect. ~I really like the design of dividing each page into three different patterned papers. The stars are a great touch. I’m glad you scrapped distance learning. Years from now it will be an important time to remember.~I love the strips on your covid page. Your cute little viruses are fun. Each section is something important about this crazy time. Thanks for sharing.

Linda, I really like the black dots on your spotty kitty layout. It’s appropriate! ~I love angles on the New Apartment layout. They add movement to the page. I must learn to do that and then leave them angled! @sunnycamom, I love your edge punching and the use of the tags. She looks so pretty in her dress. What a strange year with school schedules through distance-learning with zoom. Beautiful page. schroema, oh, I love the banners at both the top and bottom. Great colors and lots of glitz and glitter. She looks lovely. Her earrings are really cute. Lovely page. This is for Sketchy Saturday 6-19. Baby Eddie I made this entirely from my scrap box except for the white cardstock background paper. I still have tons of scraps that need to be used because I can't throw them away. LOL

lenigirl08, your fathers' day projects are really cool, especially when you explain the story behind them. I love that you all shared your FD activities virtually with Dad. azcrafty that is a fun die set. Love what you did with it to create cool scenes. So neat that they are all so different! Great pages, @sunnycamom! Love how you used the wide pp strips on the bowling and distance learning pages. Don't think I will ever tire of seeing pages made with that collection. And the narrow strips on the Covid Life page add just enough colour to your documentation photos. The Last First Day page is beautiful. So cool that you had her pose outdoors all dressed up for school when it was going to be virtual. Speaking of strips, schroema, you knocked it out of the park! Love the grey with those rich colours. I will leave love on Flickr for your fun cards, joblackford, and that sweet page, nylene.

and tonight's layouts. I thought I was finished after these but I discovered a handful more photos I hadn't printed -oops. So sent an order to CVS and DH will pick up for me at lunch or after work and hopefully I can get scrapped tomorrow. Super old sticker on this one. the greys are much closer irl than my photo shows - super poor lighting in my craft room. The kitty brad I've had for well over a decade and the word stickers are old too. Using up stash a very little at a time. new paper but old Jolees stickers
