kmage - DH bought me a Gemini Jr for my birthday and it arrived this afternoon. And I have to agree with Dee - that's a great avator grammadee - thank you! I haven't tried embossing yet (perhaps tomorrow's project) but die cutting was a breeze (and I've never really used the stamp/die sets before)

I've been sharing my sketchtember projects on those threads but this one wasn't from a sketch. My photo sucks - thankfully the actual photos are in focus.

I had a wonderful time scrapping online tonight - and I got several layouts done. I was too lazy to take this one back out to photograph

and one last one for the evening - my photo of it isn't as clear as it could be but the journalling reads "1928 Jones CS Family Treadle, made in England"

Wow Linda, you are on a tear! I love the birthday page, the peek of colourful paper behind your photos sets the tone. Really cute batch of layouts! My first contribution to the month is another scrapbook generations sketch from the class - using 6x6 papers. Mine diverges from the sketch a fair amount of course! I used a die to cut the chevrons in the background. The hockey sticks icons are about 18 years old in my stash! layout faromor by kirstendrew, on Flickr

did these layouts during this afternoon's online crop - just had to put finishing touches on them afterwards. I have one more that still needs journalling. Kitty paper and sticker are from a Reminisce collection "Love my cat" Background paper is an old Karen Foster. Shamrocks were cut from a QK die. Chess is layered QK die cuts p- chesspiece is cut on my Cricut - traced from an image online.

Linda - The chess layout is great - the colours, the checkered background, and it's amazing what we can do with an online printable and some scissors! I often think that I should put my own computer/printer/scissors to more work instead of buying dies... Also want to call out your use of old KI memories and a great idea to photograph your kid with the lawnmower! And all your great kitten pages this month angel97701 - you are putting a good dent in that wedding album! Love the die cut title and use of the silver for it.

Thank you kitbop - no actual scissors for the chess piece - just snagged an online image and turned it into a cut file for the cricut - it does a much better job of cutting neatly than I do. Last one from the online crop now I've journalled - used an ancient My Mind's Eye die cut leftover from scrapping my kid's baby books.

angel97701 - pretty page with the pinks/purple and the silver lettering. You choose lovely china - do you use it often? Actually I have used it for almost every major holiday. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas typically. On a few occasions for special dinners. I also have my grandmother's very nice "Pine bough" China that is nice for Thanksgiving. I change out the chargers, and table decor. I do like having it, even though it is a pain to pack up. . . which I've done twice in the last three years, once of painting, and once when we had a water heater leak and needed to remodel that portion of the home. The real pain is unpacking it! Thanks for asking!

I've spent quite a bit of time planning and printing photos from this summer. I finally decided to get a layout completed. I had to download special paper and then I found medical dies and it all came together quickly. IMG_4976 by Nancy Tim, on Flickr

I have been sharing my SKETCHtember takes in the various challenge threads. But obviously I should come here more often: lots of activity going on here, too. Here is a quick card I put together when clearing off my scrap counter. I had cut all the strips for some cards for the Crushing on Carstock class. fall bd by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I will come back and leave some love...

"1928 Jones CS Family Treadle, made in England" I just love that sewing machine layout! I love mechanical machines and think they should be celebrated! My first layout using the September NJFB kits is on the blog today. I love these colors so much. I'm such a fan of neutrals. I had cut all the strips for some cards for the Crushing on Carstock class. Great, great use of scraps. I do this too, but yours is a little more elegant I have gotten 2 layouts done so far this month and 4 cards. They're all on my IG: zingerig. I may pull them here later, but for now, they're there Great and beautiful work all.
