Baskin Robbins Bubble Gum ice cream. I'll sit on the weird bench with you! When I go to Baskin Robbins, I often get 1 scoop of bubble gum & 1 scoop of cotton candy in a bowl, with chocolate jimmies. What do people call them if not Jimmies? PNWer here and everyone I know calls them Jimmie’s. Sprinkles is all I've heard them called outside of NH. Rainbow or chocolate sprinkles. On our first date, after a movie my now DH & I went to Friendly's and got ice cream. The look on his face when I ordered jimmies on mine was amazing. ( He mostly grew up in San Antonio, TX and in his mind jimmy is slang for a condom.) So he thought I just asked the waiter for a bowl of ice cream and some rubbers. He must've been thinking "Damn, that's bold. I guess the date's going pretty well!" HaHaHaaHa! I've never heard that slang before. That's so awesome. I'm from Massachusetts and have always called them that. Our local dairy makes their own ice cream and it's all delicious.

Too hard to pick a favorite. Depends on my mood and if I’m buying from a local place that makes their own or just store bought.
I love a butter pecan when the pecans are salty. Maple walnut is also up there. Coconut almond. Hmmmmm they all seem to have nuts in them.
I see lots of people like mint choc chip. Which brand is the mintiest? I’ve tried several from the expensive brands to the cheap brands and I find that the mint isn’t strong enough. Would love to find a brand that has stronger mint!

Mint chocolate chip but it has to be the Turkey Hill brand because I like the shaved chocolate chips, not the chunky kind.
I also like the spumoni flavor, the pistachio, cherry, and chocolate combo.
This thread has me wanting to go buy some new flavors of ice cream.

If I had to pick just one it would be Rocky Road. Butter Pecan is close behind.

Black Walnut, coffee, rocky road, pralines and cream are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There's a chocolate one that DH bought, but I don't remember the name (just as well or I'd eat the whole carton, given the chance)

Ben & Jerry’s Americone Dream was my favorite. Häagen-Dazs Caramel Cone is very similar and was a close second.
Then I discovered Edy’s Cookie Cobblestone last week.
Freaking amazing. Chocolate ice cream with big chunks of Oreo, chocolate chip cookie dough, and marshmallow swirl.
I eat ice cream every night. In fact, I lost 15 lbs last year while still having ice cream every night.

Everything but the Kitchen Sink (Ben & Jerry's)
Regular or Extreme Moose Tracks
I haven't bought Tillamook in forever. So I need to do that.

Grocery Store: Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia Local Dairies: Arethusa Farm Strawberry; UConn Dairy Bar any flavor (except coffee)
Also I have a confession: we have a local dairy in my town that everyone raves about, but I just do not think it's all that. If I stated this out loud, I would be pelted with tomatoes. The experience is fun, though, and they make a cute pup cup with soft vanilla and little dog cookies and peanut butter. Posie has trouble waiting in line for her turn.

Chocolate chip cookie dough will always be my favorite, but my husband got me an ice cream maker a few years ago for my birthday, and we've made vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter cup, and strawberry ice creams. All so good.

But ive never heard condoms called jimmies either.. i about 4 hrs from San Antonio though.. It's actually a shortened version of 'jimmy hat'. Funny enough, my best friend's husband (who's born & raised in the greater Denver area) says the same thing, so I guess it's not a SA thing. I don't think I ever answered the actual question though. My all time favorite ice creams are both discontinued Ben & Jerry's flavors. Brownie Batter and Cluster Fluff. I've filled out their 'request to resurrect from the flavor graveyard' for both of them, but no luck yet. I keep my fingers crossed though! I love Moose Tracks ice cream, but mostly b/c I LOVE the moose tracks fudge. If I could get that on it's own, I would. Ben & Jerry's Brewed to Matter is coffee ice cream with fudge chunks and a brownie batter swirl. I've only ever seen it at Target, and they've not had it the last couple times I've been there, so I'm a little worried. There are a couple other brands/flavors I know I like from the grocery store, but I can't think of them off hand. I don't eat a lot of ice cream, it's one of those things I go through phases of. (Cotton candy blizzards during the summer are a whole 'nother story!)

Around the holidays, I like Haagen Daz or Talenti peppermint bark. There's a creamery that has 3 locations in south central PA who does seasonal flavors and their Cadbury Creme egg flavor and Reese's PB egg flavor are rick & to die for. I'll make my own version of Coldstone's Strawberry Blonde at home sometimes with strawberry ice cream, whip cream, caramel and crushed graham crackers.

There is a local ice cream shop here that makes homemade ice cream. They have seasonal flavors. My 2nd job as a teenager was working at an ice cream shop, he made all his own ice creams and had holiday flavors (cinnamon, pumpkin, peppermint). Plus all the regulars: chocolate, vanilla, black walnut, butter pecan, bubblegum, blue moon... He had about 20 flavors or more. So fun to work there. We had candies, popcorn, soft serve. I learned how to make ice cream sodas! Chocolate was my favorite.
