There was a show on tv about ten years ago called For Love or Money, or something like that. It was crazy, and along the same lines as this proposed show. Dumb IMHO

Not my thing. Then again, my dh and I were w/eachother for years before we did get married. I'm not impulsive by any means.

That would be a definite NO for me! And as I type that, I can't help but wonder how much time I would waste watching this if it turned into a TV show. Darn it!

I know arranged marriages happen in other countries, and I don't find the idea of it completely appalling in certain circumstances. Especially if it's their culture and custom - and I know some families let the couple have a say in who they choose. But I couldn't do it personally.

Oh hell no! Ever watch Who the Bleep Did I Marry? Even marrying someone you know can be risky enough! (IMHO)

Sounds like a train wreck, but I'd tune in for the first episode.

Not a show I would even consider watching, similar to the Bachelor/ette, Real Housewives, etc. Like most "reality" shows, I doubt the "couples" would legally marry. Any ceremony held would probably be scripted fiction just for ratings - think HGTV house-buying shows!

The same show aired this spring in Denmark, and those marriages were legal. One of the couples are already divorced.

Not for me, but as others have said it is quite common in other parts of the world .
