So reacdtle being completely gone I’m try the redactle-unlimited which a Redditor made that is similar to redactle and if you click daily at top it is the daily game that everyone plays. I solved Redactle Unlimited in 11 guesses and 6 hours with an accuracy of 81.82%. Play at redactle-unlimited.com/#article/Qmh1dGFuDidn’t actually take me 6 hours. 😂 I lookEd at the puzzle this afternoon on lunch break but didn’t play until I got home. Not an area of expertise for me so used google on guess 9 and happily and surprisingly guessed correctly on 11.

I got this one in 27 guesses (#111) on Redactle Unlimited because the other one wasn’t loading, but I did have to consult Google.

I got John Cabot in 7. BUT after getting "Italian explorer" it wasn't coming to me, so I googled Italian explorers and then said "Doh!" Totally forgot that Cabot was Italian. (This is embarrassing, after living in Newfoundland for three years!)

My husband and I did yesterday's (Siamese cat) together and got it in 21. We identified the bit about the Wizard of Oz in the media section, and he recognized "Like a Rolling Stone" after that, so we pulled up the lyrics.

Today's took me 25. I wasn't getting it but then I guessed "road" and saw the bit that said "underneath the road," so that helped.

42 (good number). The words in all caps caught my eye. Wasn't obvious, though.

I solved today's Redactle (#118) in 24 guesses with an accuracy of 25.00%. Played at www.redactle.com/Lol terrible accuracy but I stumbled upon the first word on guess 20 and there aren’t too many things that it could be so only 4 guesses later. I’m happy with that result. I think I do too much guessing with filler words like who what when where why up down north south so my accuracy is always low.

One guess that I find helpful early on when I suspect the title is a thing is SPECIES. If that gets me a good hit I know that it’s going to be about an animal, bird, plant, insect, etc. which rules out a lot of other things. And if that word doesn’t get a hit it rules out all of the living things.

Right away I know if not many hits on he then it’s not a person. (Why have we had no female articles) and used or use let’s me know it’s a thing/tool. Also water/war/earth/molecule are good ones to start with. But after those if I don’t have a clue I start to throw words at the wall hoping one good one will stick 😂

Okay, I *NEVER* would have gotten this one without Google. (#119, took me 122 guesses. My accuracy was an abysmal 18%.)

Well that was just bad.
Apparently Redactle and Unlimited had different articles today. Not sure what that's about.

Today #119 You solved it in 101 guesses Your accuracy was 37.62%
Today was ridiculous. I had to stalk Reddit and look at so many spoilers.

I forgot to reset the stupid thing that doubles up your answers so my actual number of guesses was 22 for puzzle #120. And it was only that high because I was putting in two digit numbers to get the birthdate . Once I had that it was easy.
