I have a college student so I just do the student bundle with Spotify, Hulu and Showtime for $5. I like that I don't have to switch accounts every year. Wait WHAT??? *I* have a college student - how do I take advantage of this? www.spotify.com/us/student/

I'm looking for a robot vacuum that also mops. There's so many out there now. I have a Roomba that's five years old. It just now goes round and round it circles, it has lost it's mind! (changed batteries several times, cleaned the contacts, did "everything" to try to make it work. So I'm looking for another that hopefully will last longer.

Ok I signed up for Hulu for the year and HBOMax for the next three months I am debating Paramount+ and Peacock. I am bummed that Acorn doesn't have a sale on Prime. There are a lot of options for channels the next two months 1.99 a month if anyone is interested.

Sewing machine. Not a fancy one, but a nice quality that is a step above basic. Do you know what make and model that you would like? I would go to a quilt/fabric shop to get a machine. They usually include lessons and also don't mind if you have questions/issues after your purchase. I recently purchased a new sewing/quilting machine. Still love my 1993 Phaff (made in West Germany) as it is a workhorse! I don’t. My dd picked up a free Singer that was from the 50’s. It still works. But it’s big and heavy and she lives in a small apartment. She’s made some really cute things with very limited features. Just thought I’d upgrade. If you have any suggestions just let me know.

I really want the Fable dinnerware set. I can't decide what colour. White, blush or sage. I think I've ruled put sage. My fiest instinct is pink but then I think dinner on pink plates?!

I believe Apple Music is $5/month for college kids. I wish they would do it for HS too

I just picked up two beautiful sweaters on talbots.com. One was 50 percent off full price and one was 40 percent off. My parents can stick them in a gift bag and give them to me for Christmas. I'm easy!

Daisy perfume by Marc Jacobs…I’ve never bought perfume on Black Friday so I have no idea who has the best deals.
I appreciate all the tips on subscriptions. I had no idea they could be so cheap! Thank you!!!

Heh, until you said this I was going to suggest going to a local sewing repair shop and buying a good quality older machine. It's definitely a case of "they don't make 'em like they used to!" so it's still not a bad idea. The use of plastic parts might make a machine lighter, but it won't last as long. The first sewing machine I bought myself was a just above basic model Husquvarna Viking in the late 90's. It's still going strong though I did get a computerized Pfaff for easier quilting and to try out embroidery about 15 years ago. I definitely haven't used that one to it's full potential. If her current machine has a blind hem stitch and she's not trying to quilt big quilts herself, you might consider a SewEZ portable sewing table for her apartment instead of a new machine. Otherwise, your local sewing machine dealer/repair shop (or the one nearest her for easy servicing) is probably your best bet. They likely have used ones available from people upgrading that are worth a look at.

I just signed up for Paramount Plus again for 2 months for $2 through Amazon. I was surprised it gave me that price since I had previously had the same deal for 2 months and then cancelled. Suits me as the only thing I want to watch is the last season of the Good Fight.

I am looking forward to buy new headphones. Any recommendations? My wife requested these for Christmas. They are 52% off right now at Amazon: Sennheiser HD 450BT Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Headphone with Active Noise Cancellation a.co/bQ5qDaF

I know I don’t have much time right now

I’m looking for a wireless charger for ds and dd. They both have iPhones. They don’t have watches, so that’s not needed. Any suggestions and any on sale this weekend you’d suggest?

I am looking forward to buy new headphones. Any recommendations? We’re Jlab fans in this house. Their Bluetooth studio ones are really durable. My kids (6 and 11) each have a pair. We also have the go air earbuds that are really nice. My dd has the sport earbuds.

Yes you have to have not been a subscriber for a month. I switch off with my husband but it is annoying as you lose your saved stuff. Different email and credit card. But I am cheap so I deal. Does that count if I’m a Disney plus subscriber. I pay for Disney but don’t have Hulu😡

I have been finding a few things here and there although most of my shopping has been done. I do have kids in my life with Jan and Feb birthdays, so I have been shopping for that.
I miss the paper ads though, it isn't as fun or easy to shop online.
I did get a combo Operation/Perfection game for half price on Target. For anyone that wants to give a child in their life double the anxiety is children of the 70's and 80's had. 🤪

I had Disney, hubby had Hulu but now both are under my email. I was thinking of renewing Disney right before the price jump with hubby’s email but not sure as they seem to want Hulu and Disney with the same email which shouldn’t matter as we don’t do the bundle but I know I saw a warning or something about it recently. I like having it but will admit to being cheap sometimes and the price increase is really annoying me and I don’t want to switch to ads.

DH went to the store yesterday morning for me for 2 things - a bag of ice and a paper. He called me and told me I was going to be disappointed in the ads. Just a few and even they weren't full ads. I know when I look at blackfriday.com, the Kohls ad is like 60 pages. This one was 10? No Home Depot or Lowes (where I can get good ideas for dh).

Ours only had Fred Meyer, Macy's and several sporting goods stores. No Kohls, no Lowe's, no Target.

2 of my kids want new airpods for Christmas so I'm looking for those and an air compressor thing my husband wants. That's pretty much it. My kids all want clothes so I've been shopping all month at "early" BF sales. I'm pretty close to being done shopping for my kids. Still have to get Legos for one kiddo and do their stockings.

The only thing I am looking at right now are sales on streaming services. Discovery+ has an 80% off Black Friday deal. First 3 months of ad-lite service for 99 cents/month. That package is normally $4.99/month. It's the one we have and we don't find the ads to be excessive. Sale is good until Nov. 28. Sewing machine. Not a fancy one, but a nice quality that is a step above basic. Not sure what your price range is, but if I were looking for a 'step above basic' sewing machine I would consider Eversewn, Bernette or some of the smaller Janome machines. Just avoid a machine from a big box store and try to buy one with a local dealer. That will allow for assistance and service on the machine. If you aren't opposed to a used machine, then check with local sewing machine dealer and see what they have on offer. Typically those used machines have been traded in and have been serviced before being sold. It can be a good way to get more machine for your money.
