Have you seen this colour yet? Sorry it is so big. I can't wait for this colour to come in. I scrapbooked with this colour years ago and love it! Yay!

My girls and I have been waiting to see the 2015 color of the year. I'm disappointed in the choice. It's screams barn to me. I don't find it terribly creative or inspiring, especially for fashion. Although, I think housewares in this color would be very nice. Last year's Radiant Orchid was an wonderful color, IMO, even though I don't wear it. At least Marsala is better than the Emerald a few years ago. This color has too much rust in it. Anyway, I'll shut up now.

The paper on the right looks like old Scrapbook Sally paper from years ago! I had lots of that pattern. I can't wait to see that colour come in style. It's not a good colour for me to wear but hey I can scrap with it! Very excited!

I'm not too sure about it for clothing but can see shoes and bags being gorgeous in that colour.
I loved Emerald, almost all shades of green are my thing.

What works for one person won't for another. I didn't like Emerald either. I think I hated it to be honest. I am not a fan of that colour green. Other greens I like but not that colour green. This colour I do like for a change

I enjoyed seeing all of the Emerald clothing in the stores, but I love green. This color is nice too, but I only have a few clothing items in this color.

Not a fan of that one. But I didn't like the previous two either, so what do I know?!

I read an article about this the other day - I actually quite like it. The one I read had a couple of photos of dresses and one I really liked. It also said that Sephora is releasing a make up collection inspired by it - the lipstick was nice but I didn't like the eyeshadow!

We own a sign company and i am always trying to sell people on color choices that are 'out of the box' and not the same old same old. I love this color with the mint and ivory. I'm stealing this picture to save for inspiration to use when the right job comes along! Thanks!

Blech! I don't care for it at all. I do enjoying seeing how it will get highlighted all year long though.

I don't care for it on its own...reminds me of dried blood. But I could see it looking really nice paired with lighter brighter colors.

I've liked the last few - and don't like this one. It reminds me of the 80s - just pair it with pine green and it's 1987.

I love it and hated the last 2. It's fall-like to me and I bet next seasons fall fashions will be great in this shade. I think the orchid was something most people just couldn't wear in fashion, but it's ok in home decor.

I like how the actual sample looks a bit metallic to me. The paper does look a bit old and dated.
I do really like the Marsala colour with the ivory.
I did really like the Emerald--it reminded me of that dress that Keira Knightley wore in Atonement. I'm not a huge fan of the forest or kelly greens, but I really do like the emerald. I was looking for an emerald dress and haven't found one I liked.
I think the emerald and marsala would look beautiful together for Christmas--different from the normal barn red and kelly green. I'd use ivory and gold along with these colours.
I love the Marsala for lipstick, but I'm not a fan of reddish eyeshadow. On my colouring, I would look like I had conjunctivitis or was having a serious allergic reaction. I have been looking at Urban Decay's Vice palette and do like their cranberry colour, but it has some blue in it.
I can't wait to see what fashion and interior designers do with this colour this year. I'm imagining silvers and coppers and brighter blues with the ivory.

I'm not too sure about it for clothing but can see shoes and bags being gorgeous in that colour. That. That's a color I would only use in tiny amounts.

I'm not too sure about it for clothing but can see shoes and bags being gorgeous in that colour. That. That's a color I would only use in tiny amounts. I had the opposite reaction to Marsala. I could see having a couch upholstered in this color, but not Emerald or Radiant Orchid. Or wear a suit in this color, but only a blouse in the other two. IMHO, it will work as a neutral as much as an accent color.

I suppose the burning question is, will anyone be dyeing their armpit hair this colour?

I like it. Our family room already has an ivory/tan/marsala color scheme, so I'm happy to not only be on trend, but have a hope of finding things to go with the existing stuff.
I hated radiant orchid, but emerald I liked, and tangerine tango made me happy.

I love it. And think the cream & touch of green in the photo posted show it off beautifully. But what do I know, I could care less for fashion and need help when trying to see "my vision" at home.

I wasn't thinking clothes with this colour, really, but was quite looking forward to scrapbooking supplies with it. Reminds me of the old Chatterbox Scarlet colour.
