Dh & I are invited to an event Wed evening, but I can't go, so he'll be going by himself. It's potluck... Normally if I went, I would make something that I can assemble, but I'm not trusting dh to do that, nor do I want him to ask to use the oven. Another thing is, if he's going straight from work, I'll need to drop it off to him around lunch time. So obviously I need something easy that doesn't require heating up or assembling when he arrives. Something that's not going to get nasty, dry up, get watery, you get my drift. I'm at a total loss here.
So anything easy that can be served at either room temperature or cool. He has a fridge at work to keep things cold if needed. Ok go!

There is another appetizer thread on the front page that has many good, simple appetizers. You might want to check that one out.

If you have a fridge to put it in I would suggest prosciutto cheese and melon or grapes pears work great too... you could assemble them for him. Take a slice of prosciutto a piece of cheese and a slice of pear or melon or a grape and wrap the prosciutto around the cheese and fruit them stick a tooth pick in it. this is a good appetizer. veggie trays and cheese and meat trays are always great too.
