Thanks fawkes76KikiPea - well done. I also find it hard to say I've used something up because I tend to intermingle stuff and not keep it in its packaging, That said -I've used up a wedding collection kit - only a few scraps left (and part of a sticker sheet). AND I've used all I plan to use from a wedding journalling card set so will be donating or RAKing the rest

It's been a very successful two weeks-ish USING stuff! Last week I pulled out the remains of my old Pinkfresh grab box and made 8 layouts ... there were a couple of papers left afterwards that I integrated into my stash. My NEW Pinkfresh grab box arrived on Saturday. I've used ALL of the non-Christmas papers on layouts since then...there's a few scraps left and plenty of embellishments but I'm feeling like I got my money's worth from the box - I think I made 11 or so layouts. I'll go back and work on the Christmas papers another time (I haven't printed Dec 2023 yet) And I've pulled out a collection kit by Paper House and gotten started on my sister's wedding (2017) layouts- made 3 so far. You've been super productive, congrats on using so much up!

When I was making cards this month for the spring exchange, I dug deep into my stash. I used some SU pp that had been hanging around for a year to make the month's Sheetload of Cards and when I was searching for focal images, decided to fussy cut up another sheet or two from the same pack!
Then for the remaining 9 cards, I used papers from a Spellbinders card kit I bought to see what they're like as well as a die-cut pack from somewhere and a few other bits and bobs.

The best thing--I used up the very last of my Tombow solid adhesive. I've switched to Scrapbook.com's dotted refill and I love it so much more.

I used up all the remaining scraps of the Shimelle MCE papers I bought (about 5 sheets?). I have a few unfinished cards - panels of patterned paper without sentiments or focal points yet - but I don’t have any loose papers or scraps left. I even managed to make a card to use up the cute branding strips.

I used one of my use it or lose it alphas for a title today. I've had it for more years than I can remember so I'm excited to see it finished.

I’ve had a sandylion style snoopy Easter sticker set from decades ago and I used it today on a spread from our easter trip at universal studios in Japan. Matched the pics of the snoopy and Woodstock egg garden ornaments perfectly!

This is an awesome thread for me right now, because I'm just getting back to scrapping after approx. 4 years away from it. I no longer have a craft space--never mind a room, and almost all of my supplies are packed away while I wait for my scrap space to be ready. Which is really low on a very long list of things that need to be done around here. (We bought an old house to restore/renovate a few years back, which I have always wanted to do, but it's super slow-going, and so I'm in "make-do" mode for crafting space.) So I literally grabbed one bankers box of 12x12 pads/papers/kits, and about 2 dozen 6x6 paper pads and brought them over to my tiny desk with a few markers & some adhesive, and that's ALL I'm scrapping with right now. So it's forcing me to make things work that normally I would have written off as not being "right" for whatever current project I was doing, and I hope it will lead to me finishing some things as well.

I've lately been loving the pages I've been creating from limited supplies, even if they are not always the things I would have chosen if I'd been using my whole stash. I hope you'll come back and let us know when you've used or used up some of your supplies, I find it really makes me want to dig into my stash when I see what others are using.

Well, so far the only thing I've finished is a bottle of Un-Du. But that's a good thing, because for some reason I had 2 started bottles going at the same time. So I'm glad to have just one started one again.

I'm using my Cricut and dies and stamps more - which is good - I bought them to help me use scraps and not buy as many embellishments.
Not sure I'm using stuff UP though - other than my pop-dots (which I then bought more) and photo squares (same). I am using scraps alot.

I really think that in many cases it will be more a situation of me using up everything I'm willing to use as opposed to actually finishing.
Many things in my stash were given to me, so they may primarily not be my style, but I can use some of them. And even things I chose myself I may have chosen for parts rather than the whole, kwim?
For instance today I was using a paper pad from Michael's--one of those Recollections 6z6 pads that aren't even cardstock but rather actual lightweight patterned paper. Those work well for projects with mod podge, I find, but I don't love using them for scrapbooking. Plus the colors & style of the one I've been trying to use are not all for me at all.
So I did start a few pages in my yearly album with them and I made a card with them today. Then, I like to keep scrap paper in my desk, because I'm forever looking for scrap paper for this or that. And i was out, so I got that pad, and took out every sheet that I absolutely knew I didn't like enough to ever use on anything, cut them all in half, and filled the scrap paper basket in my desk drawer with them. And I still have so much of that pad left! It was an 180 page pad! That's a lot of paper if you love the patterns, and it's way too much when you don't.
So I think my next step will be to pull out the few remaining pages that I like, and maybe make a few little "mini kits" with them---enough for a page or a few cards, and then I think I'll start filling a gallon sized ziploc bag with scrap stuff I don't want, with this pad being the first item; and when it's full, I'll donate it/give it away, and for me that will be "finished".

melanell - I think that's true for many of us - I know it is for me. I think that was a great idea to use the papers you won't use for scratch paper. I recently filled 3 2-gallon bags with stuff I knew I wouldn't use - and it's in the donation box now. I've learnt to go through 12 x 12 pads when I get them and pull out anything that won't work cut down to 8.5x11 (my layout size) and donate right away.

melanell I don't buy a lot of paper pads but I've done the same thing, I use the 12x12 sheets that are not my thing as scratch paper on my desk for testing ink colours or stamps or whatever, and the 6x6 papers get thrown in my scraps drawer to use the white backs for printing journaling or matting photos. I've probably mentioned it in this thread that because I break my supplies apart, I can't actually tell when I've used the last of something, so I instead focus on the feeling of accomplishment of using something that might have been in my stash a long time or was something I no longer (or perhaps never really) love(d). Congrats on making progress!

I used up a bunch of those lightweight paper pad pages by making envelopes with the printed side on the inside. If you have an envelope punch board it’s one easy way to use up more sheets of the so-so designs. Especially if you also made some cards from one sheet and have 1-3 more sheets left. but the ones that are just fugly are soul-sapping IMO and I’m happy to give those away.
