I have seen past survivors leave things behind accidentally and then the remaining survivors end up wearing/using them (remember that Tarzan wearing Kat's clothes, including her underwear! after she was voted off?). But the HII is different--you can take people's belongings but you can't take an idol. The only way Jaclyn could have it is if before he left, he gave it to her. And thank goodness for that because I want that girl GONE! Jamali, I noticed the same thing too--all men on the jury--and I kind of love it. Oh gosh, I hope even if he IS there she can take it. The only problem is, he has friends on the jury AND the guys could be bitter that the girls (well one in particular) one-upped them. But that would be a travesty if Keith was left and he won. Can you imagine that guy speaking at the final TC? Oh my....Still, if the girls are smart, they'll get him out first change they get--he's served his purpose. I knew I remembered people wearing clothes left behind, but couldn't remember any details (like if it was their whole bag) and you are correct about the HII. It can only be used it it is given to another cast member before you leave the game. So, do you think it will be rehidden at Exile Island? I 100% agree with everything you said about Ponderosa. I Ponderosa. ETA: I love everyone brushing their teeth for the first time. Never did I think I'd be rooting for Natalie to win, but I am loving the way she is playing and so impressed with her in challenges. With the current jury, I think Jeremy, Reed & Josh will vote for her and Wes, Alec & Jon would vote for Keith. If Keith ends up on the jury, I think Natalie would get his vote plus everyone else (except maybe Jon).

That. Was. AWESOME! I was so very worried but Natalie played the whole thing out masterfully--from her fantastic acting and explanation about why she voted for Alec, to winning the immunity challenge, to helping get Missy on their side. Oh, and we can't forget that she was smart enough to really TALK to Keith and make sure he was very careful about what he revealed. Jaclyn, as usual, played the part of the spoiled princess and it looks like she continues that next week. Big surprise. I loved that Natalie could not disguise her pleasure at final tribal and I love that she keeps Jeremy close to her heart as she goes after Jon. Missy I was about ready to throttle. When Baylor said "mom, this is for a million dollars" and Missy said "I couldn't care less about that" I thought---Whaaaaa? Why did you come on this game? To find a man? To find a surrogate son? Thank goodness she came to her senses. I think Natalie is one smart and tough chick. Is she the only female that's been to Exile alone? Anyway, I love her and I really, really hope she takes this all the way and wins. I gotta say though, I'm really surprised at the people rooting for Keith. He is disloyal; he is not very bright at all; he is only still in this game because he's been led around like a sheep. I will give him a little credit--he did find one of the HIIs and he did did win a few immunity challenges. That's the only thing he has going for him. But he's simply awful at this game and if he wins, there is really, really something wrong. Did they do the auction this season? I don't remember it if they did. That is always one of my very favorites! Everything you said. While I still can't stand Missy, I have to give her credit for her performance at TC. She had me fooled! Still rooting for Nat to take it all!

I would hope that Jon and Jacqueline had worked out the HII details before Tribal Council. We don't know which of them was holding it, and he could have passed it to her at some point during the revote. Then again, they were soooo confident that why would they have talked about it?
The next tribal (final 5) is the last time the HII can be played, right?

Because of the way they split the vote and re-voted, Missy never voted for Jon. She voted for Jac both times. Anyone else notice that Keith was the one helping Missy hobbling around? Her BFF Jon didn't help her out at all and he's younger and bigger. Considering the animosity between Keith and Missy, glad to see Keith is a gentleman, even though he has nasty habits

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! That was so exciting and the best episode ever. I was literally bouncing on my couch in excitement when that rat Jon got voted out. I can't stand his entitled thinking, his "I'm already constantly thinking about my final speech to the jury", his bigger than ever ego. I was so happy to literally see it crushed in the dirt tonight. The Barbie and Ken couple sure got a surprise tonight!
Natalie you are my hero. I really hope you win the final because out of everyone out there you are the only one that truly deserves it. You are the only one truly playing the game, and what playing it is! You are masterminding everyone around you, and doing it without raising the suspicions of the number 1 power couple who have been unfortunately running the game for far too long. You can see who to trust and talk to and align with, and who not to. MIssy was a risk, but a necessary one. I was literally shocked when she said, "Her word meant more to her than a million dollars". WTF? Survivor is outwit, outlast, outplay. That's what it is all about. Playing the game and staying completely honest to everyone around you is impossible-nor is it seen as a power play. Missy is too wooed by men, even men far younger than she is-I was totally happily surprised she actually came through with her vote. Baylor and Natalie must have found some way to finally talk some sense into her stupid "values" and men euphoria.
Keith-I like Keith. But you are so right Jackie. Keith doesn't deserve to win because he hasn't a clue how to play this game. He has won some immunity challenges and I do have to give him credit for that. I can't remember how many he has won. Can anyone? I know that Baylor won one, and Natalie won last night-I was really cheering for her because she needed that win and for Jon to lose. But really, what else has he done? He does what he is told to do, but I don't think he understand the inner workings of the game. Oh, but he still has an idol. I forgot about that. It will keep him in the game at least I think for one more tribal council, if he remembers to play it. Still out of who is left I'd rather see Keith at the end with Natalie, than Missy-she certainly doesn't deserve to be at the end at all! Keith at least has won those immunity challenges so in my eyes he deserves to be at the final 3 more than Missy.
Baylor I don't know about. She won that one immunity idol and she has been working with Natalie to get Jon out so I wouldn't mind if she was one of the final 3.
Jacyln I want OUT! What a spoiled little Princess brat! I don't think I've ever seen such a spoiled brat on Survivor before. Her pouting when Jon's team won the spa day and she knew she wasn't going, but he was going to get to go was utterly ridiculous! Any good girlfriend would have been happy for her boyfriend that he had won and was going to be able to enjoy that reward instead of only thinking of herself not going. But no, all she thought about was the fact that he was going to enjoy that time and she wasn't. Talk about acting like a spoiled little brat. I will be so happy to see her voted out next, and hope that's what they do.
So...Jacyln out next, then Missy. Baylor, Keith and Natalie for the final 3. I think Natalie would easily win. She certainly deserves it the most. Off to read and see the links.

He played it at that tribal council where Jon played his. The only two HII left were the one Jon had and the one Natalie has. I'm rooting for Natalie... she's my hero after last night. I was so ready to see Jon gone!!!

So in the Ponderosa footage I noticed Jon is wearing a rosary around his neck like a necklace. During the whole time out in Survivor playing Alec wore a day glow rosary around his neck like a necklace. I'm a Catholic and was taught that rosary's are sacred items and should never be worn like necklaces. I wonder if they are Catholic, or is this just a fashion trend? Jon mentions his faith and how Missy manipulated him by talking to him using his faith to get him to do what she wanted him to do. Of course he thinks Missy is the one who got him voted out, because that is what Alec told him. Just curious about all of this.

I also forgot about Natalie having an idol! Fantastic!! That will keep her in the game longer. What great news.

Surrogate son my ass. Missy will go with anyone with a penis. If Jon wasn't there (as he now isn't) she'll buddy up to Keith. I want Natalie to win. I loved her and Nadia since Amazing Race. If that isn't possible then Keith. My third choice is Baylor. Surprisingly I've warmed up to her.
Natalie coaching Keith for Tribal was artful. Tribal is where the best laid plans always fall apart.

I heard an interview with Jon on my way into work this morning. He said that he did leave his bag with Jaclyn so that she she could have his clothes and such, but that if you are going to give your idol to someone, it has to happen before the votes are read. The producers collected the idol from Jaclyn, and it is definitely out of play.

Interesting. I saw a strap on his shoulder when he went to be checked by the medic but it was probably his canteen. That was smart to leave the clothes for Jaclyn--I'm sure the extra layers come in handy at night. I was pretty sure she couldn't "inherit" his HII or he couldn't pass it to her after the vote. That only makes sense. Glad to see it works that way and that Jaclyn does NOT have an idol.
I also forgot about Nat having the HII! So she is guaranteed final four--yay!
Jaclyn probably will be voted out next Debbie, I agree with that. However I'm betting that Keith will go next. And honestly, they might even vote Keith next since he has won the most immunity challenges. Natalie might want to get him out at her first opportunity. I definitely would NOT take Keith to the finals. Even though I think it would be insane for the jury to vote for him, some of them just might. I think he is probably more liked by the jury than Missy and Baylor.
Reed thinks Baylor's a brat and got into it with Missy over it. He won't vote for either of them. I don't think Wes and Alec got along with them so they wouldn't vote for either of them, but they WOULD vote for Keith. Jon and Jaclyn might be just bitter enough to vote for Keith because they are mad at all the girls in their alliance--Keith hasn't wronged them in any way. Jeremy would definitely vote for Nat and I'd like to think Reed and Josh (who are true players and lovers of the game) would do the same, but the rest would very likely vote for Keith. Insanely enough, that sweet spittin' simpleton is kind of dangerous!

That makes total sense as usual Jackie. You are an artist in analyzing Survivor. You are very right-it does make much more sense to take Missy and Baylor to the final 3 with her (Natalie). I had a problem seeing that because I was looking at who most deserved to be in the final 3. But you shouldn't look at it that way. You should look at who to take with you (let's say you are Natalie since she is who we want to win) who you have the best chances to win against. And that's where you cleared the clouds for me and made me see it clearly. Of course no one is going to vote for Missy. What has she done to deserve the win? Absolutely nothing. Baylor might get a vote or two. From Jon and Jacyln who will be bitter against Natalie for getting Jon out. But I do think the rest of the votes will go to Natalie. She has proved herself to be an amazing player by outwitting the power couple of the season, and getting Jon blindsided. I think the rest of the jury will see that, and see that she deserves to win. So I like your idea of Missy, Baylor and Natalie for final 3.
Keith and Jacyln need to go, and I think you are right, Natalie is a smart girl and will get Keith out next because he is a threat-especially the way he seems to win those challenges. Jacyln can be easily picked off next.

We have Jon and Missy in the pool. Ha, so not a rat's ass chance in winning. I have to say he took the blindside well and didn't seem bitter. I'm surprised Jac didn't say *I told you to play the idol!!*. Hopefully they will boot her next time.

My whole family is in the pool joy (four of us!) and we don't even have a player n the jury let alone still in the gasket. You're doing way better than us! I think you do a great job analyzing the game too! Some may say we're just a little too invested in it but who cares? . I'm really worried for Natalie. She HAS to win immunity when it gets to the final four. If Keith of Jaclyn win it, Natalie is gone. That is the scary part about leaving Baylor and Missy in--they are a voting bloc that could never td penetrated. We already know Missy won't win any challenges. I don't think she ever has and she def won't know with her ankle. I think Baylor did win one but I don't thin Jac has--Natalie is much stronger and tougher than either of them. Can't wait for Sunday!!

We know Natalie has been playing a great game. But if she is playing so far undercover, the question becomes. Will she get credit for her gameplay during the game? I didn't watch ponderosa videos but from what you're saying is, nobody knows she's the one pulling the strings.
That Jon ouster, for instance, was payback for Jeremy. But the audience is (are?) the only ones who know it.

Also I think her sister being an early boot was probably the best thing to happen to Natalie's gameplay. Those two together run their mouths too much.

I agree Jen that the undercover came can be tricky. There have been past seasons where the contestants said things like "I had no idea how hard they were playing until I watched at home". But, she has the jury time to let everyone know. Hopefully she'll sell herself well and they'll understand/believe her.

Can't wait for Sunday!! Thanks for the compliment Jackie-and naw, we aren't too invested in the game. We are just huge Survivor fans. So what? I'd rather be a Survivor fan than a football fan. Now that's a game that makes no sense whatsoever to me. Although you might disagree. I know Americans love it. As a half German/half American who wasn't born here I never developed a love for football. Plus having parents who couldn't stand the game probably added to that. We never watched it at home. Anyway, oh my gosh! I didn't even think about Natalie being in so much danger that she HAS to win immunity in the final four. Let's say they get Keith out next, Natalie has her idol so she should be safe. Jeff didn't make his speech yet about "this is the last time you can play an idol" so I think she can still use it. At least I really, really hope so. Then we only have Missy, Baylor, Jacyln, and Natalie left. I really hope that the bond that Baylor and Natalie have developed will be strong enough to get Baylor to vote Jacyln out rather than Natalie. Although her "Mom" may talk her into voting Natalie out since at least one of them will have a better chance of winning if Natalie isn't in the final 3. And that's true. Natalie will have to win immunity. I totally see what you mean. Oh my gosh I love this game. But can you imagine a final 3 of Missy, Baylor and Jacyln? That would be such a travesty. Sending out best wishes and hopes to Natalie (although I know it's already over). Is the final on Sunday? I thought it was on Wednesday. I hope it's on Sunday! Debbie in MD.
