I throw them out if no one wants them.

My heart literally skipped a beat reading this. I’m going to step out now and never come back to this thread, so I don’t have to hear about the various ways people are destroying photos. 🥴 Me too. I print almost every photo I take. Yes, I have about 16,000 photos. You'll have to pry them out of my dead hands. I'm sitting on the same bench with both of you. I can't imagine throwing photos in the trash or burning them. I have all of the photos from my film days organized and in archival shoe boxes by year or subject-or they are in scrapbooks. I don't print every digital photo I've ever taken. I'm very selective. I learned how to edit and choose which ones to print during my days working in the photography studio in the mid 1980's and later when I had my own photography business-this of course was from negatives. For my personal photos I had my film printed and usually had duplicate photos made at the time of each frame. I still cringe at the thought of throwing any of those photos out. Anyway, since going digital (which I resisted until 2005-I am such a traditionalist) it's much easier to pick and choose which photos to print. Photos to me are like books. They are what I'd grab if my house was burning. I can't willingly destroy them.
