I was a committed vegetarian when I got pregnant with my first child. Had been one for years and years. The first thing I craved after I got pregnant was fried chicken.

wheat thin crackers. I lived in hong kong and there was very little "american " food available. I went to taiwan and we didn't have enough cash (then they did not take credit cards).. so I wanted them but never got them

Red meat and Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade. DH would take me on these forced marches (gently walking) to the mall with the promise of a lemonade. It worked.
I totally needed red meat. He took me to Ruth's Chris multiple times. Winner, that one.

The only thing I really craved was fresh pineapple. And I lost my desire for pasta - which never really returned (which is a good thing!)

With firstborn, toothpaste and mars bar icecreams. They were only sold at a few petrol stations and corner shops, so every couple of weeks we'd fill an esky with ice and do a road trip and stock up.
With second son, broccoli in cheese sauce and syrup coke from McDonalds. ONLY from McDonalds. I remember crying my eyes out when himself tried to fob me off with Hungry Jacks coke.
I had a thing for sniffing soap with both of them. i carried a bar round in my handbag and I'd be taking these furtive whiffs all the time.
I was a weird pregnant chick.

With all 3 I could have lived on chocolate graham crackers and orange Gatorade (always together). And still craved them when I was nursing. I also hated BBQ sauce my entire life until I got a craving one day with my first pregnancy, and have liked it ever since.

Milk. I’m not normally a milk drinker but when I was pregnant I wanted to chug glass after glass of plain milk. Then I ended up with gestational diabetes and I had to carefully track everything I ate and drank so the milk drinking had to be cut way back.
The doctor wanted me to eat boatloads of almonds for the protein boost which made me get a rash on my hands and feet, so she switched me to dry roasted peanuts. I ate so.many.peanuts. And ironically enough, my kid hates peanut butter and anything with peanut butter in it except Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. She’ll eat those once in a while. She has never once eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in her entire life.

The only one I can remember is oranges. That was with my first DD.
When that DD grew up and was expecting her first, she craved Heavenly Hash ice cream every single evening for the last 6 months.

Taco Bell beef crunchy tacos. They started selling them in a 6-pack at that time (1990) and I would eat them almost daily for dinner. All six. Before that, the tacos weren’t really on my radar.

After the nausea subsided the first thing I remember desperately craving was shrimp cocktail. I also ate a ton of cereal with milk and I normally don’t like milk with cereal.

1st time - Blueberry muffins (bought at the grocery store, not homemade), and canned pineapple juice, for breakfast every day.
2nd time - don't remember much - cheese and crackers.

Blueberries. I also discovered a taco shop near our house and I guess one night I wanted a taco. I don’t remember but my husband does lol. I just remember wanting anything that had blueberries.

Mexican food and everything hot and spicy. My DD would order a bowl of jalapeños when we ate Mexican food from the time she was old enough to talk. 😂

I had a lot of food aversions. I also had brutal morning sickness with the first one.
I craved all things strawbery with my first. Once he was born, I never ate another bite of strawberry flavored items, only fresh strawberries.
I don't think I had any with the second.

Sushi. It was 35 years ago before the warnings of raw foods and my doctor okayed it, but said I should try for cooked items. I realized I craved the sushi rice and nori wraps, so my husband found a rice recipe and bought a makisu bamboo mat and taught himself to prepare sushi at home. He made cooked, slivered shrimp, smoked salmon, egg patties, avocado, carrot and cucumber sushi for me.

I didn't have any cravings at all. I only had anti-cravings. With my second pregnancy, I couldn't stomach even the smell of coffee, so I stopped drinking it while pregnant. (Which is a good thing, because a number of years after that, studies came out to say you shouldn't drink coffee at all during pregnancy.)

In my first trimester, I craved fast food all the time. In n out burger, McDonald’s chicken nuggets, etc. I also craved sour candy. Now I’m not craving anything specific.

Nachos with jalapeño peppers and lots of them-like 3-4 slices on every chip! If I was having morning sickness, nachos cured. Hormonal modes-nachos to the rescue! Unable to slee-nachos! Indigestion-nachos!
For all four pregnancies and started the minute I was pregnant before I even missed a period or had doctors confirmation. This was like 38 years ago. Consistent. No other cravings.
