If I’m late, it’s either due to unexpected traffic (I don’t work, so totally forget about school zones.) The other issue is if it’s warm out, and my pup wants out. He will go lay down, and ignore me when I call him. Yes, he’s a brat. I always let him out right before I leave, but if his doggy friends are out, he loses all sense, and pays no attention to me.

I'm never late (or is DH) so no excuses. 99.5% I'm on time or early. Once in a blue moon because of traffic I might be late. But definitely not because of something I did.

I assumed anything - Dr appointment, friend gathering, family event. Pretty sure Spongemom Scrappants was being facetious Exactly. It was a snarky way of saying I’m never late. Lol.

I struggle when I first get up with debilitating pain. I typically used to get up an hour early just to get pain meds on board and have a cup of coffee with the hopes that the hot coffee would activate the pain pill a little faster. There is no way I could have jumped up and gotten into the shower like I had done for so many years. I never make morning appointments anymore for this reason.

I am very rarely if ever late. I can be your friend and you can be mine, but don’t be late. Family that is usually never on time, know that after 15 minutes I will place my and my family’s order and will eat when the food arrives. If they are late , they will get started later. And, they know we may leave before they are finished. My family thinks nothing of being late. My friends know I won’t be there if they constantly run late and I won’t make any plans with them.
