I’m so sorry. I’m glad he was at home and able to do this on his own so that you didn’t have to. Gentle hugs

I'm really sorry to hear about Tucker, Lexica. It sounds like he had a great, fun-filled life with you and the other kitties! I had to have Gabi (in my picture) put down 3 weeks ago. She was 16. I'd had her since she was 7 weeks. I miss her so much. I loved the story about the grocery bagger! Amazing. About a week after Gabi was gone, I got up during the night to go to the bathroom. I saw a little white figure by the door and reached down to pet her and there was nothing there. It all happened so fast but I was hoping it was her.

I'm really sorry to hear about Tucker, Lexica . I’m sorry to hear about Gabi too. She looks very much like my pup, Winston. I got him as a baby too and the thought of how I am going to be able to handle it when his time comes is overwhelming. He is such a big part of my daily life. Had I heard about you seeing the white figure by the door before I had heard this bagger talk, I would attribute it to grief and habit. But there is no denying that this woman knew things that were impossible for her to know. Her seeing my little Button walking beside me in the grocery store has had such an impact on me. I try to remain open to things like that happening. Just because I don’t have that ability doesn’t mean it isn’t real. I find it very comforting and hope that I will be reunited with them when I pass on. I believe your experience very well could have been Gabi. I have never seen anything myself, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t out there.
