I don't think this group has figured out how to work the new system. Many of them were watchers or super fans and had that as a mindset. I don't have the feeds but u=it seems like no one has wrapped their heads around strategy.
I think it has the potential to make the season more fun (disregarding AG interference) but it also has the potential to make it more frustrating.

Per Jokers, Caleb has been crying this morning because he realized it's the Fourth of July and he's remembering those he lost in the military. He asked Frankie to talk to the other houseguests and let them know why he's emotional and for them to give him a hug or something. Frankie was reluctant but passed that along to those who were awake.
Post-cry, Caleb is now saying that he made it through the first 2-3 rounds of 'The Voice.'
I did go back through and skim some of the convos on Jokers from overnight, and it does sound like at least some of the HGs are aware of the dual HOH/throw the Battle of the Block idea, because I could find where a few people mentioned it. I think Zach/Cody (LOL because that's the first time I put that together and that was one of dd's favorite tv shows) wanted to backdoor Devin and mentioned it. Additionally, I saw a remark from Devin to Paola promising her safety this week if she threw the BotB to keep him HOH. I did not find out what his perceived issue is w/Brit, other than that she was close to Joey.

BB didn't give them a lot of time this week between HOH competition, nominations and BOTB. They barely came down from seeing the HOH room and they had to make nominations. That doesn't give them any time to campaign and strategize.

I've literally seen every single episode of their shows ... multiple times because I have two dd's I was confused earlier because wouldn't it make more sense for the HOH of the winning team to hold onto the position I don't think that AG and other producers really thought this one out ... I so want Devin to go next week. I don't even have the live feeds and he bothers me.
Last night there was a blow up between Devin and Caleb over voting Brittany out. Devin wants her gone because he's playing personal, most of the other houseguests don't want to vote her out. I still haven't really figured out what it is she did/said to him .
Devin yelled "our alliance is over", now Caleb is worried over who heard it.

Is Devin the new Jessie? To me he seems to be just about as annoying with his smirking and showing off his muscles.
