I bought the cake slice set. It is really cute! Just curious, did you get dies with the cake slice stamp set? I was looking for dies and don't see them. I think that set is super cute! Yes, I bought the set. I ordered it just before 6am. Not sure when it sold out.

Umm.. no thanks!
Looks like there are six companies left, so one each night if TH is releasing on Saturday?

Nope. Knew I wouldn’t be interested in CCC. Not familiar with Kitchen Sink, but need more butterflies like I need another hole in my head….

I live in NYC. I see rats enough. CCC used them last year for their Stamptember set and now this year too. Grossed out then and now.

I’m not a fan of either company so not sorry I missed the release. Both are already sold out of their stamp/die combos which leads me the the question………..Do some of these companies involved in Stamptember make fewer sets available than others??? I wonder because Memory Box and Altenew are still available and I expected them to sell fast.

Before SSS went to their new system, you could type in some huge number into the quantity and it would show you how many sets were left. Seems like quantities were different for different brands.

I was looking forward to Altenew and Pinkfresh. Altenew was not tempting at all and I missed getting Pinkfresh one. Probably a good thing that I did not spend any money.

Oh yeah, they're more of the Anita Jeram licensed images. It looks like most of her artwork is rodent related - bunny, mouse, rat, with a few cats and dogs here and there. A company called Two Bad Mice sells her art as greeting cards, so I think mice are a key to her work. If it's any consolation (haha, I know it's not) they're UK countryside critters, not pizza-slice-stealing NYC rodents. The layered butterflies are pretty - I like the realistic style - but I can't be bothered with layering stamps right now. And there are SO MANY choices for butterflies, old and new.

I wonder because Memory Box and Altenew are still available and I expected them to sell fast. I'm pretty sure that the stock is very different for different companies. I would guess that smaller outfits like Trinity Stamps have far less than Altenew or Pinkfresh, and Tim Holtz is probably an order of magnitude different. Based on brand popularity I would've though Altenew should have been a sure thing, Hero Arts too! They may have overstocked some of the bigger names and then had the designs underwhelm... It's probably hard to predict. And maybe they're responding to the complaints about FOMO and increasing orders on some brands?

I think the layered butterfly and dragonfly are beautiful! I really like the realistic style. But I don't need more butterfly/dragonfly stamps, especially at that price.

Last year there were several sets that I had to convince myself that I didn't need. I did end up buying one of the SSS branded sets during their Thanksgiving sale. This year, I truly have not been tempted by anything, nor is there anything in the SSS branded products that are on my wish list for a sale.
Looking over some of these sets, I can't help but wonder if maybe they were "rejects" for regular release? I just don't feel any of them are special (for lack of a better word). I know that sounds kind of bad....but I'm that underwhelmed.

I feel that same way about many of the sets. They seem smaller and underwhelming compared to sets those same companies sell on their own websites.

Two more cutesy holiday stamps tonight, Newton's Nook and LaLaLand Crafts - penguins and pets in stockings, both small sets, both easy nopes for me.
Fun fact: Amy R/Prairie Paper&Ink talked about how she didn't have the dies for any of the stamptember sets and has been fussy cutting all month, and I realized Jennifer McGuire talked about not having the dies too, so I guess that's standard for the DT. Now that I look at the examples on SSS I see they're all fussy cut.

The latest two are cute but not for me. I have penguins and a few cute animals I could stick in a stocking if I wanted to.

Another day, another pass.
I like the Memory Box flower stamps but then I wondered how many flower outlines do I really need and the sentiments weren't any that I would use. So, pass.

I usually have serious FOMO on at least 3 sets every Stamptember. This year, not one set has interested me. I was sure I'd repeated use the free shipping code but nope, nada. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this has been a strange/underwhelming Stamptember.

Nichol Spohr was also fussy cutting. I find that very odd that the design team didn’t get the dies. I'm wondering if it's a cost savings thing (maybe dies are expensive as they're trying to tell us with these prices) or, maybe more likely, a production timeline thing. Maybe the dies aren't ready in time to get them shipped out early to the DT.

Most of the big influencers will never use discontinued products on future cards and since Stamptember products are a one and done, it doesn't make sense to give them dies that could be sold to paying customers.

I like the butterfly Kitchen Sink stamps and dies....but they did something VERY similar last year, and I bought those, so no need for more.

OMG I never thought about the fact that the DT won’t use them again unless it’s for their personal use off camera because they like them. I guess we need to make friends with some influencers! (not this year - I don’t even want most of this year’s sets even for free)

Is the Sweet and Sassy Have Faith set the new one? It’s not showing up at the top of the list for me but I don’t think I’ve seen it before. It’s another nope anyway.

It is a the top of the listings for me. But the stamp set is a NO for me. ETA: On another note, I finally got my Festive Flower today. I like it! I don't see it only as a poinsettia, I can see a tropical flower too.

Free shipping now requires a $25 minimum.

I imagine the free shipping $25 minimum is to encourage purchasing the die sets. Those who use Scan n Cut or don’t mind fussy cutting saves $$$.
