I have still been craving vegetables, so last night I made up a big batch of roasted veggies: red, green, and yellow capsicum, sweet potato, pumpkin, potato, zucchini, mushrooms, carrot, cherry tomatoes, red onion, broccoli, beans, garlic. Then I made a garlic balsamic sauce to drizzle over it. I ate a big bowl of it for dinner, then sat there all wholesome and haughty...... then the pizza that DS ordered arrived. I may or may not have had a couple of pieces of pizza as well. And by a couple, I mean three. Tearisci your poor mum! I hope she isn't in any pain and is on the mend soon. Please let me know how your French Onion Chicken bake turns out - it sounds really good. I was talking to my chiropractor about my pain and being unable to find a comfortable position. I told him I hate to take anything and he said to give myself permission when I am that uncomfortable. I have found Tylenol PM helps a lot. I have been taking Nurofen and/or Voltaren pretty much every night before bed, for the last 2-3 weeks. My sciatica has been playing up, and was worse when I had COVID and spent so much time in bed. I am an idiot though, because for two nights in a row I took Nurofen AND Voltaren at the same time. When I asked my friend who is a GP if I can take them together, she said no, because they're both an anti-inflammatory. Then she called me an idiot!
