Leave my dog home alone while I go knit in a house of worship, come home and take a nap, followed by a trip to Walmart to have someone snap a pic of me draped over the cheese in its refrigerated section.  What at are you inspired to do? |

Well...I DID nap, felt a cashmere sweater (it is a weird pink that is more grey than pink,) finished the Christmas candy (and there was more than one kind so it was kind of like a candy buffet,) moved Guns, Germs and Steel from the coffee table to a book shelf (so I glanced at the back which is almost like reading history,) and definitely did not make any plans for New Year's Eve beyond buying black eyed peas at Publix today. Oh, I didn't sit on any Walmart cheese, but I did put some parmesan in my ceaser salad tonight. So there.  |

I was waiting for my invitation to Lauren's wedding, alas it did not come. I think another reception for those of us whose invitations got lost in the mail is an excellent idea.

I want to ponder what to do with my SIL's nefarious plan for my newly upholstered chair whilst I rest my bum on the cheese. Then I will plan a surprise party and watch bowl games after I visit a strip club because Ebola is airborne.

I also want to move freebird 's work neighbor's car to the front lawn of the MIL in North Carolina and tell her the Refupeas thought it would be more useful than the reupholstered chair. I too have no plans for NYE, but may make some during tomorrow's nap (if I can sneak one). I did restock my Tide Sport today, thanks to the Refupeas, and tackled my teenage son's laundry, in addition to sprinkling Febreze carpet powder and vacuuming his room to tackle the teenage boy smell. |

Write thank you notes decorated with handmade flowers crafted from thrifted sweaters, take a nap while pondering the end of 2014, plan a curmudgeon's upcoming birthday party (oh wait, that would be MINE, LOL!) and bid on vintage Mickey Mouse Colorforms on eBay (ha ha, I did that yesterday and won the auction too). Oh, and buy some grass fed organic beef. Can't forget that! I just love this place! |

I want to hug mellyw tightly, if only it would help in a small way. She has been in my thoughts all day.
I can't help but think that my DD is 24, and my DIL has type 1 diabetes.....and today is the two year anniversary of my mom's passing from a sudden brain aneurysm. So I am reminded of the pain they are feeling.
