I am a bit bitter that I had no idea my All-Clad could go in the dishwasher. I've been handwashing with Bar Keeper's friend for over 10 years. Mine have the copper bottoms, I wonder if that matters? I don't think copper can go in the dishwasher... |

I have a mix. Primarily stainless, a little nonstick for delicate things, one cast iron griddle, and two Le Creuset pieces. It suits how I cook. I wouldn't personally buy one set because I need more variety.

I prefer stainless over nonstick.
I have a big mix. Some stainless. Some cast iron. One small nonstick skillet, but truthfully, we rarely use it.
