How can I argue with that type of recommendation? I think we should start a new peas book club and make this the first one. I would love to discuss how everyone felt after reading this book. This is not a spoiler since you know this in very beginning, I cannot imagine being 12 years old, French, BLIND and living during WWII and the occupation of your country. Leeanne runs the TwoPeas Book Club, our next book discussion is in September with Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen.

GINAM--I have read THE MIDWIFE'S CONFESSION and thought it was really good. I think you'll like it. Thanks!

Linda-Lou, I'm really liking it too! I especially liked the way Marie explained what it was like being blind. I think I may have to go back and bookmark that part, because I want to read it again.
