I'm 43, almost 44. Lately I'm not thrilled about that.

Lexica, you have a huge amount of white space in your post. I noticed the white space in my post when I quoted her. I tried to delete my post, it won't let me. First wonky thing I've ever seen on this forum!

My birth certificate says I'm 66 but my brain thinks I'm still a teen. Loving life more each day. My advice: take Zumba! It makes you feel young. Zumba rocks! It's helped me lose 60 lbs and keep it off for 2 years . I am 44.

38...30 didn't bother me, but 40 scares me a bit!

I've been married longer than some of you have been alive LOL I'm 63 and over all I'm doing ok. My mom is 94, still living independently though she lives in a senior community

I will be 55 this year, and in some ways due to the extreme stress in our lives I feel it in many ways. However I work at keeping healthy and have changed my eating habits (GF DF) so in many ways I am feeling better! Like a few others losing 25+ would help , but I'm holding at the 10 pound loss for now. My kids are 18 (DSD), 15, and 8. My boys were adopted from Russia right before my 50th birthday, so I feel like I have a real need to "stay young"! I am the oldest mom at any of my now 3rd grade sons events, in fact could be some of the kids grandma I guess. I've always said I lived my life in reverse because I was single for so long (married at 45) and traveled, had a career, did lots of sports, etc. Now my life is about my kids sports!

I am 50. Getting older has never bothered me, and milestone birthdays have never been stressful or depressing for me. I like the confidence that has come with age, and the finally really knowing myself, who I am, what is important to me, and what I really want and need from life. I am also so glad to have given up putting so much stock in what other people, especially people that I barely know or who are unimportant in my life, think of me, or worrying that someone might not like me, etc. I am happy with who I am and the only people whose opinions matter are those that I am closest to. I always figure that getting older beats the heck out of the alternative!

Turned 27 yesterday (and appear to be quite the baby here at the minute).
I did freak out a few weeks ago, particularly when I look at where my parents and grandparents were at my age. And also when I compare myself to my peers. But yesterday came and went and I think I'm good with it. There have been some cool people in my life lately showing me that it's what I make of it! It's not a competition.

I just turned 58 last month. Looks like I'm not the oldest one here and I'm certainly not the youngest! I was widowed at 54 and a grandma at 55. It's been a struggle sometimes but overall I'm happy with my life. It's been exciting to scrap it!
