So I just changed my picture to the real me. Previously I was one of the sunflower pictures. Only reason I did it was because I look fairly good in the picture. Always look better when ones body isn't included in the picture!

I usually don't look at avatars or names but I finally got rid of the kiwi. Subtract about 25 years and I do resemble my avatar

*thinking to self* "I wonder what other Refupeas think I look like?" I wonder the same thing. I wonder how we would all describe ourselves? Like which physical attributes would we claim, not claim, and all that. I wonder if I could challenge people to describe themselves by using only positive words and compliments to themselves. I don't think *I* could do it, but it would be an interesting exercise. I seem to vaguely remember something similar being done over at the old place......

*thinking to self* "I wonder what other Refupeas think I look like?" I think of you peeking out of a field of lavender. Because until today, I thought your screen name was lavendrLOOKOUTlady. I need to read more carefully... That's okay. I still can't read you screen name as anything but Shar-Lag.

With the way I throw around frumpy & fluffy to describe myself, I don't think anyone would have a very nice mental image of me.

Oh Dalai Mama, you are gorgeous!! That's not how I pictured you at all, but don't ask me how I pictured you, I don't really know.... maybe longer hair? ETA: As I often say in these situations "I'm not sure what I thought you'd look like, but that isn't it". Yes, that's what I was trying to say!

I look sort of like the avatar I made. Except I'm older. I was disappointed there were no possums to put on my head. Or even a guinea pig! I want your old profile pic back!

That's okay. I still can't read you screen name as anything but Shar-Lag. Wait, it's NOT Shar-lag?!?! I learned in a very eye opening thread awhile back that it is pronounced Sharla G. Must be one of those weird, made up names or something.

Not naming names, but there's one pea who I imagine looks like Mama in "Throw Mama from the Train."

Well, since my DD is my nearly exact replica, you could imagine that the top half of me in my avatar looks pretty much like the munchkin. Just taller and older. With more teeth.

I have a mental image of some peeps, but mostly, I WONDER what some of you look like instead of having my own image. I like seeing peoples' faces...I am just too shy to post mine....same with Facebook! I've tried posting actual photos as my Facebook profile several times, but it feels so weird / vulnerable (?) so I always change it back to my furbabies or something else cute/funny. I DO post photos on my threads, I just feel weird having my facwpop up every time in a profile pik on any site ....

I really do have long purple hair. Well, it is really dark dark brown (almost black) and purple. But it is poker straight and parted in the middle. I'm not goth, but I do have goth hair.

use their photo as their avatar? For a long time, before she posted her photo, I envisioned Lauren looking like Alan Rickman, only more womanly.

Georgiapea--this youtube video is exactly how I've mentally pictured you for several years. I think this video is so cool! Pretty lady demonstrates home pedicures for opossoms
Tincin, you are so lovely--both on the inside and outside. I *love* your cobalt blue glasses frames. They really look great with your hair and skin tone. It's hard to see in the avatar, but I did notice your cobalt blue necklace. Beautiful. --Is it sapphire? I adore sapphires. I'm sure that these bright pops of colour make your eyes look amazing in person. (I regret not ordering a pair of tortoiseshell frames that were lined in green--I needed the glasses immediately and the frames would have taken a few weeks. Hopefully I can find these frames again since I need new ones) My hair isn't as red as in my avatar, but I do have very large, green eyes and an odd nose--I like my nose now, but lots of people talked about the weird shape of my nose when I was a kid. My best friend hated her cute little turned up button nose and wanted mine, and I wanted hers. I tried to post some photos, but I couldn't get them to work. I host my photos on Flickr, but I couldn't imbed them into my post like everyone else. I'm thinking of changing my avatar to this recent photoThis photo of my darling dh and me is what I looked like before the pancreatitis and MS was bad --since it's of my flickr photostream, you can see other photos of dh and me and my cats I don't have any recent photos on this computer. I had a lot on my phone, but I lost it at Christmas. I've gained some weight and get a lot of swelling, plus dh gained a lot of weight and has never been photogenic anyway. He's done so well losing the weight. We're going to get some new professional photos this year. I love seeing photos of the peas. You're all beautiful, strong, amazing women. We nitpick and criticize our looks and nobody else sees us like we see ourselves. I don't look at other women and think--oh she's sooo fat or has weird hair colour or think negatively. Shar-lag--You are adorable! I love your frames and think your hair colour looks amazing. Your ex was so stupid for letting such a stone cold fox like you get away. Dalai Mama, I definitely think blue is your colour, not highway sign green. I really love your hair cut and your beautiful grey hair. I didn't really picture you as a crunchy-granola artsy long haired girl--your long hair is beautiful. I've just always thought you were more modern and practical. Your skin is beautiful. Anita--love the photo! You have such beautiful skin and gorgeous hair. This photo of you is so striking with the gorgeous backdrop. You look so happy. Metaldancer--great hair! I can't really see your face, but I love your positive energy and joy. When I look at you, I want to dance! Ginacivey--I've seen photos of you for years, so I've always pictured you like your photos. You and your dh are one of the most handsome couples in 2pealand-- Steph from Ohio that married recently is the other one that immediately comes to mind. Momof3 pits--you are so pretty. I love your long hair. You and your family are so beautiful. Your dh is so handsome and your pits are 3 of the most strikingly handsome pits I've ever seen. Nink--I love the matching vests you and your dogs are wearing. I am envious of your sleek, pretty hair, and your bone structure is beautiful. Jeremysgirl, you and your dh are another one of the most attractive couples. You are so pretty, and that hair cut and colour look amazing on you. Cadoodlebug--I've always loved your photos. You remind me of my aunt and mother, and they are gorgeous, amazing women. I love your positive attitude and great sense of humour. Slicksister--I love this photo of you. You look like you're having such a great time and are thinking of something a bit mischievous. You are so happy and attractive. Your hair and glasses suit you perfectly. I only wish you were in colour. With your beautiful skin, you'll be so striking with grey hair. Kristalina, I always picture you with your beautiful hair flowing behind you like you always have a fan on you. You are beautiful. I totally understand wanting a good photo. I don't take photos very well--my chin disappears completely. Spongemom, When I picture you, I imagine you out having another great adventure. I'm also quite a bit envious of you enjoying that sunshine in the pool. You are such an awesome and brave pea--having a swimsuit photo as your avatar! You look amazing. Smokey--I can't get a lot of detail from your photo, but you are your husband look so handsome! 2pealand has the most attractive couples! Pascopea--your photo is one of my favourites! You are so amazing to post a photo of yourself without hair. You are so beautiful. Your skin is so lovely. You are the epitome of a British rose, and I smile every time I see you. Kkooch--I love this photo of you. Your hair suits you so well. You have such beautiful brown eyes and look so calm and peaceful. Your skin is lovely-- I admire you for showing a no-makeup photo! Your scarf is beautiful on you--it really brings out the pink in your skin. Aussimeg--I always try to read your posts in your beautiful accent--didn't you once post a video where you were talking, or was that another Aussi pea? You are so pretty, and I love your hair! You remind me of sunshine on a summer day, and I love your sense of humour! Seriously, 2pealand is full of beautiful, amazing women! I have been so blessed to get to know all of you.

Just in case
Wow. Why did your name get me picturing an older woman in a tie-dyed shirt? I wasn't expecting a pretty, stylish young woman. Definitely not a dildo. :-)

I don't have a mental image unless their avatar is like mine. Mine looks a lot like me so I just assumed the others look like them, too. It's probably not an accurate assumption, however. What's funny is that if asked, I would recognize an avatar before the username. Well, unless it's a kiwi.

Jo, you look like I envisioned. A while back you said your hair was short, and I just pictured you in my mind and it's a pretty darn close match. A long time ago I posted a picture of my little blond babies, and a lot of people were surprised thinking they would look like the offspring of Captain Jack Sparrow apparently. It was pretty funny.
