I would say it's less than $5k. I've been scrapping/stamping for 14 yrs almost. I have sold it all off a time or 2 as I had moved onto something else or we needed $$ but I always seem to find my way back. We are hopefully in a good place now so I should never have to see my hobbies disappear again.

That is a hard question...I spend a chunk going to weekend crops, conventions (in the past), buying various art supplies and all of the normal scrap goodies. I would guess that in 10 years, I have easily spent 20k...but I made the money and I view it as money well spent. I've made amazing friends all over the world, created great stuff for my kids and had a lot of fun. I think it's money well spent.

I honestly have no idea but I would say between $8,000-$12,000. Scrapbooking products are more expensive as an international and when I first started I was single and childless and had money to burn, these days I don't buy as much but all those $3 and $5 bits and pieces sure do add up so who knows what the figure is, best not to know LOL.

I am pretty sure I don't want to know. But I"m sure it's less than what my hubby spends on golf and computer toys, so it's all good.

I honestly have no idea but going to guess about $400 a year for the past 10 years. Much less in the past 3-4 years though but I sure did manage to spend a bit early on. It averages to about $400 a year I am guessing.

I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years so, the total isn't even something I can begin to calculate. Last year, I started subscribing to Studio Calico so that $50 per month right there (Scrapbooking kit and PL kit), that's before any add-ons I might want, that said I don't make many purchases aside from that, mostly adhesive, cardstock, albums, page protectors ect. I did buy a cameo from a friend for $100 a few months ago. Probably all total this year I'll be at about $100 on average per month.

I don't want to know! It's been 15 years, and includes the gamut of weekend crops/monthly clubs/being a consultant with 3 different companies. I've loved every minute of it and it's definitely less expensive than therapy! The laughs, friendships, and memories shared with family are worth every penny!

Less than I tell my other half, but more than I should! In fairness - he has his hobbies, I have mine. No-one counts and everyone is happy. That's us exactly. He's a Jeeper and when he makes purchases they are really big ticket items. And he goes on a Jeeping trip each month. So if you factor in the trips and associated expenses it's possible he has spent more in 6 years than I have in 15 years of scrapping. You know I started out thinking there was no way I wanted to know but when I stop and compare with him, I feel much better about it And like others have stated, I don't do the shoe/purse/clothes or mani/pedi thing. Plus, the first 6 years of I scrapped I only had big box stores to shop at and hadn't discovered internet shopping so I know I spent less those years.

We're adding in crops and retreats? I'm SO not going to add all this up...1999 until now. Nope, not going there either and am sticking with the mantra: It is cheaper than therapy!

I've been scrapbooking for 20 years. For the last 10 years, I've probably averaged $100 month (yeah, I know , sad). We'll round that to $1000 a year and say $10K. Prior to that when scrapbook supplies (LSS, Michael's, J's, online stores etc.) not so prevalent, we'll say $500 a year (first 10 years) -- so $5000. So $15,000 would be my conservative estimate. (I'm not counting furniture, storage containers, or the photos themselves, ok?)

I have no idea at all. I may buy something every week for a few months and then buy nothing for a few months. I know I spend less than many others, but still more than I care to calculate.

I have about $1500 invested in Copic markers alone. I'm guessing on average, I spend $100 per month x 12 months = $1200 per year x 17 years = $20,400. Give or take…lol.
