I started out at scrapaddict, then went on to be on a couple of DT's during the boom (when it seemed there were a billion scrapbooking sites, all with DT's.) Then I finally landed at 2peas and have lurked there ever since.

I was a refugee from the CK boards, I left after they decided to not pay their board mod and their magazine contributors all of they money they owed them. I already had an account on Two Peas, so I decided to land there. I did try out the SIS site but it wasn't a good fit.

Yup. I started out on AOL's scrapbook board. Then moved to 2peas when it underwent a transition that made it unreadable (quite literally!) I was also on AOL, and left for the same reason. I remember you, Volt! I have NO idea what my name was there, LOL. I lurked here for years before I even made an account. I was more than a little skeered of NSBR back in the day! |

dmarie was my first ever messageboard. Is that still around? Then Scrapjazz. Then I came to 2 Peas.

From about 2002-2007 I was a quite talkative member of the about.com/scrapbooking forum. We had gotten to the point that we had t-shirts made yearly as well as several forum crops. Then I stopped scrapping for a while, and when I came back like a year later, the forum had died. So I moved over and started using my twopeas account (which I cant even remember when I made it, just that I already had one when about.com/scrapbooking had closed). I never really participated at twopeas. I read NSBR daily and I enjoyed doing scrapping challenges when I had the time. Anyways...this is now my 3rd start on a scrap forum.  Anyone here from that old about.com forum?? Anyone been transplanted more than once? Hello, I was first on Jangle scrap boards...they closed so i went to dmarie. I also joined about.com & stayed there...I was a moderator there.. I think I left there because they changed the forums. I joined peas...I later joined scrapbook.com. where i have my gallery & post more there but I still post here too.  |

I just visited Dmarie and still have 195 layouts on there. I'm surprised they are still there - from back in the day when I still scrapped 8 1/2 by 11.

I was on dmarie and CK then on to 2peas mostly for inspiration will miss it. Yes, it really slowed down I was thinking i was 30 something when i began now getting close to 60 dose that have something to do with hmmm

Another CK message board refuge...I had to google "scrapbooking" when I overheard a conversation in JoAnn's in 1999 and found Creating Keepsakes and I've been on a scrapbooking message board almost every day since then.

Wow, thinking about this reminded me that I've made the rounds! I was quite active AOL's boards(way back when)as well as Two Cool Guys, and Scrapbook.com. But I was on so many boards over the years: dmarie, jangle, Lifetime Moments, Jessica Sprague, Scrapbook Addict, Scrap Happy and many more. Wasn't there one called My 3 Boys, or something like that?

I started on CK, I moved to 2 peas, and was also on a private message board. Then facebook became the norm, so the private board died out.

I used ot hang out more at the CK board then it changed long before it closed and I started hanging out at the peas, now here.
and another store that has a board that I hang out at, is closing, so this may be my only "board"

I was on 2peas, then I went to Unscrappable. Does anyone remember that board? Then it went *poof* and I ended up back at 2peas. I enjoyed that board. At the time we thought we were really rebellious- the bad girls of the scrappy world.
