I just sent my mom this link, telling her that this is where we should go next time we go to the beach. What makes this funny is that for at least the last 10 years, anywhere from 6-10 times a year for long weekends, we go to the same hotel. Every time we say we are going to go some place else, but the hotel has everything we generally want so we end up going back to the same place, time and time again. Sometimes we send each other links to other hotels to look at but for whatever reason, we end up at the same place. So I sent her the link. Apparently, she spent more time than she should have trying to think of where in the world Florida had a beach called "bora bora." (she is also a native Floridian) It took her a few minutes to get that it was in the South Pacific. LOL (Now that I have typed this out, I realize that maybe this is one of those of those stories that is funnier if you were there. )

First I would head east to PEI to see all the Anne of Green Gables/LM Montgomery stuff I could, then I would head to England. I want to visit Beatrix Potters cottage, Jamaica Inn, Pooh Sticks Bridge and Paddington Station! After that, I would take a tour of all the Disney Parks. None of that will ever happen though, unless my husband wins the lottery he is always talking about!

Iceland!
I really want to go on a nice vacation with my three girls. My husband and I went to Hawaii when my oldest was nine months old. My dad went for work and we tagged along and it was wonderful. Now that my babies are 20, 22 and 24 years old, going on a trip together is a dream vacation all on its own. Anywhere with a beach!

I'm going with Miz too! Those look heavenly. I have a few dream vacations. For the family? I would love to take the kids on a Disney Cruise. For dh and I, I would love a European vacation. I would want to stay a month and see as many cities as I could. Although right now, I'm dreaming of renting a beach house along the Oregon coast for a week. It's stinking hot here as I'm sitting on the back patio watching the kids swim in our pop up pool. If I didn't have such a horrible reaction to the thought of myself in a swimsuit, I would go join them! Life is short. Go swimming with your kids!

Florence, Italy is my #1 place to go one day. When I was in high school I was obsessed with the Medici family and read a ton of stuff about them. Ever since then I've wanted to visit Florence.

My dream vacation would be a European Tour
First I would start in the UK (England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland) Then I would go to Germany, France and Italy.
I would love to see other countries too (Spain, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, etc) but the primary ones are the UK, Germany, France and Italy.
I just love all the rich history there.

I would love to spend a week on Little Palm Island Spa and Resort in the Florida Keys, with all of the luxuries they offer.

Kind of quirky, but a penguin world tour. Have loved penguins since I was a kid. I would love to go to places all the places where penguins are found in the wild: New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador (Galapagos Islands), and even a boat cruise past Antarctica.
I have been lucky enough to go to some amazing places already in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean.

There aren't many place I wouldn't like to go! High on my list is seeing Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland. I went on a trip with a college group on a bus tour of Ireland for a week and then spent a couple days in London--but I want to go again and see other parts of that area, Scotland in particular. Italy and Spain are also on the top of my list. OH, and Australia and New Zealand!

My top achievable destination would be Mauritius. My DSIL is Mauritian, and she and my DB built a house there a few years ago. One of these days I'm going to go there. I'm currently sitting in a cabana in my "annual dream destination" which is St Pete Beach in Florida. Only a few days left until I'm back in damp, drizzly Scotland, where so many of you want to go! (Joking, it's a gorgeous country, just not particularly gifted with sunshine!)

We've been to Hawaii and did all the touristy stuff. I'd like to go back and just enjoy the beach and wander around. I'd love to go to Europe and spend a lot of time there. At least a month. It is truly a dream though, I don't see us ever coming into enough money to do that.

I would love to go back to Tahiti. I also want to rent a car and drive the CA coast from the Oregon coast all the way down to the Mexico border. I would take a month to do this so I could really see California. I also want to go to the Kenai area of Alaska.

I want to take DH on a Scotch tasting tour. Dh and I did that. We stayed at B&B's in Edinburgh and Inverness. We spent a night at Dalhousie Castle (7 miles out of Edinburgh) and two nights at Stuart Castle (12 miles outside Inverness) which was awesome. We were at Stuart on Tues/Wed nights in October and we were the ONLY guests there Tuesday night! I felt like Queen of the Castle And the food at that castle was some of the best out of the entire trip.
We did a daytrip out of Inverness to Eilean Donan Castle and the beautiful ruins of Armadale Castle on the Isle of Skye and stopped at a Scotch distillery on the way back.
Then we took the night train from Inverness to London to finish the rest of the vacation in England. It was a dream trip!

I have to tell you I stayed there ! It was great---they are some of the best looking OB IMO. They have that high lacquer shine.
Also look at Kia Ora in Rangoria they have some pretty cool rooms.

A European tour would be fantastic, starting with the UK. Then France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Slovakia. Finish up with Italy.
