I've played a lot of different games on my phone and iPad. (Every new thing coming and going) Happy Street is the only game I have consistently played for a couple of years now. Does anyone else love this fun little free game? I'd love to see your streets.

I will add you now.
I love seeing how different everyone does their street. I'm too lazy to rearrange mine all the time so it is just a jumbled up mess compared to some I've seen. I love visiting those streets where you can tell they really took the time to match all the buildings with a coordinating street, etc.

Can you play it without needing to buy anything? Yes! I haven't bought anything and won't have to as far as I can tell. There is free money that you earn from the residents and then spend to make your street better, as well as currency that you can pay real money for (flooz). The flooz is used to buy specialty items for your street and a while back they changed it so you can also earn the flooz for free, just slowly over time. If you want you can also buy large amounts of flooz for real money, but it's totally not needed. I just save up the free flooz that I earn until I have enough to buy a special item. |

Everything can be gotten without real money except the blimp. I don't have the blimp. It's no big deal. And unlike other games, it isn't difficult to get Flooz which is the special currency. Give it a try. I'll be happy to help any way I can. Add ,e if you'd like.

Thank you moonglowe. I've put a lot of time into it. I had the game a couple of years ago and got into level 30 something, but some glitch happened that kept trying to connect me to Facebook which I don't have. It would try to open FB every single time I opened the app and I could not play anymore so I deleted it. I just downloaded it again a couple of months ago on a new phone and had to start from scratch. I hope I get to your level one of these days! |

I do! I was just thinking I need more friends, but I don't use FBook for games.
My streets are really long (well the main street is really long, the beach street not so much ... yet). I'm CroppityKate in the game center. Off to look and add you all up!

Yeah, I've been playing about 2.5 years(?) now. It's a good filler game because you don't need the internet just to play like most others. (Internet is needed to get the daily free spin, visiting friends, etc). I would be bored and wait for the little town visitors to go by, tap on them so they would stop & spend at the dungeon, then complete the color sequence game to get 2 Flooz. and cook 2 blue dyes to make a token used to spin for flooz.
It was nice when they offered the little videos to watch and gain a flooz, but that seems to have slowed down in the past few days.

Mine tried to do the same. I just clicked cancel a few times, then made sure Facebook was off for Happy Street in Settings (both for the game and system settings), then it stopped. You might also try contacting Godzilab support. They've been helpful in the past, always respond quickly.

I just messed up. Grrrr. I bought a second Saloon which costs Flooz instead of the Cowboy house I meant to buy. What am I going to do with 2 Saloons?  |

Heidi, you can try this:
Tap on the drop down menu (the one with Shop, Bag, etc), then tap MORE
Tap Download Data
This will restore a previously backed up game over your current one. I do this when I've bought land by mistake, in the forest, underground, etc.
It means you lose what you've done currently, but usually that's less to lose than too much flooz, lol.
On the other hand, the saloons are awfully cute. Not so bad to have two.

Thanks for the tip. I never knew you could do that. I think I'll leave it alone for now and just leave it and let it earn money until I have enough Flooz again to buy what I meant to. But, I'll keep that tip in mind for next time I do something crazy... which is often. |

I googled about the video problem and found a Godzi lab FAQ that said the best fix is to delete the game and reinstall. As long as you're connected to Game Center, you won't lose your progress. So I deleted, then tried to download and discovered that of course apple is having all sorts of trouble today and many parts of itunes are down. Hoping they get everything up and running soon and I can reinstall with no problems. A little worried over here that this is turning into round #2 of me having to start from scratch! |
