I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys-r-us kid... dunkin donuts, it's worth the trip underoos are fun to wear, they're something super new in underwear
and one I can only remember part of that I'd love to see again- a family is sitting at the kitchen table and the dad deadpans "sorry doesn't butter the biscuit. sorry doesn't walk the dog..."

The Mervyn's commercial with the lady going "open, open, open" on the store's glass doors.
A pizza place (I think Round Table) mocking the places that didn't make things from scratch and a fake employee saying "oh boy I'm helping" as he opens a can of sauce.

One of my all time favorites: Little Sister from McDonald'sIt came out about the time that my older brother was out of high school and I was in my last couple of years. I used to cry like a baby, even though I still would get crazy mad at my big brother and he still lived at home. It was the last lines: "You know I'm gonna miss her, cuz we grew up together, McDonald's and you." I think I knew that I was the one who was going to move away after graduation. I was probably hoping everyone was going to miss me.

Once upon a time there was an engineer. Choo Choo Charlie was his name, we hear. He had an engine and he sure had fun. He used GOOD & PLENTY candy to make his train run. Charlie says “Love my GOOD & PLENTY!” Charlie says “Really rings my bell!” Charlie says “Love my GOOD & PLENTY!” Don’t know any other candy that I love so well!”

For mash get Smash...urgh, no thanks it tastes like armpits! Also these, more of a PSA about childhood dangers. The cat was called Charlie and made funny meowing noises that were translated by the boy into stuff like 'Charlie says don't go with strangers'.

Hot Dogs, Armour Hot Dogs, what kind of kids love Armour Hot Dogs, Fat Kids, Skinny Kids, Kids who climb on rocks, tall kids, short kids, even kids with chicken pox! (I did just double check to make sure they actually said "Fat Kids" in a commercial!)
Ring Around the Collar!
Barbara are you up? Barbara? I'm up Now!
This one may have been local a great song though: Comic books and rubber bands, climbing to the tree tops, falling down, and holding hands, tricycles and red pop, pony rides and Sunday nights, roller skates and yo yos, fairy tales and snowball fights, climbing through the window, remember when you were a kid, well part of you still is, and that's why we make Faygo. Faygo remembers....Faygo remembers.

So many good ones mentioned that'd I'd forgotten about!
One from the 60's: the smartly dressed housewife stirring something on the stove. Her Mom comes over and says Doesn't that need a little salt? She slams the lid down on the pot and says Mother, please! I'd rather do it myself! Anacin for tension headaches.....

Wow, so many blasts from the past on this post! Of course my mind is blanking right now, but I'm sure something will hit me later - stay tuned! I spent a LOT of time in front of the TV in the 70's, LOL.

From the 1970s... Burger King "Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce. Special orders don't upset us. All we ask is that you let us serve it your way!"
McDonalds "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."

The Pepsi one where lots of people gather around with candles and sing I'd like to teach the world to sing. I'm pretty sure that was Coke. Mine is "Time to make the donuts" OOPS guess since I am a Pepsi fan I changed it. But yes I think you are right. I think it also goes with the I would like to buy the world a Coke.

Okay I thought of some, which apologies if they were already mentioned:
"You sank my battleship!"
"Sit and Spin, Sit and Spin, some kids love to Sit and Spin"
"Lite Brite, makin' things with light. Outta sight! Makin' things with Lite Bright"
"Follow your nose, it always knows, the flavor of fruit wherever it grows!" (The Toucan Sam commercial)
"Honeycomb's big - YEAH YEAH YEAH. It's not small - NO NO NO"
Yes, lots of jingles for toys and breakfast cereals are rattling around in my brain, taking up space that I could really use for passwords and pin numbers.

"Monchichi, Monchichi, oh so soft and cuddly" My little sister used to drive me NUTS with that one. Hard to explain, but she would sing it really slow and dramatically, like an opera song. ACK. Thanks for putting that one back in my head, LOL.

These are awesome, and I remember MOST of them! Thanks for the memories. Here's another: "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds don't. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't!"

I remember an ad for KFC, or Kentucky Fried Chicken as it was known back then (before "fried" became taboo). It was a cartoon ad with a really fat boy and girl in the back seat of a car, driving along to get some fried chicken. They'd never make an ad for fast food these days showing fat kids! It had a catchy tune too. The other one I remember was the Grim Reaper ads back in the 80's, which were about raising awareness about AIDS. That was a scary one. One more that I remember fondly was C'mon Aussie C'mon which was a jingle written in the late 70s for the cricket competition that year against the West Indies. They made a record of it and it became our cricket anthem.

McDonalds "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun." I was going to mention that one too. I remember back in the late 70s or early 80s there was a promotion where you had to recite that verse to the servers at McDonalds and if you could do it you won a poster of the Australian cricket team. I was so excited because I managed to recite it perfectly!

I don't remember what they were all for, but I remember lines:
Joe Namath, I think- "Take it off. Take it all off."
The Maytag repairman, the loneliest guy in town.
I've fallen and I can't get up. Forget what that was for.

The bunny that is making chicken "bach, bach, bach, bach" noises as his nose wiggles. It was for Cadbury eggs. Do they still show that one?
I remember 95% of the ones listed too. Why does that stuff stick in my brain?!
